russianswede919293 95 Report post Posted February 23, 2008 No, you just look at the scoreboard and make assumptions. Why don't you actually learn the game. BTW, I'm gdone arguing with you. I was long done after the Zednik comment, I only can read your quotes now...

2probert4 8 Report post Posted February 23, 2008 My sentiments exactly. I'm not sure about anyone else but I'd prefer Ericsson over Meech. For playing with 5 defenseman and most of them not playing together much or not at all, they did well IMO.
Aussie_Wing 354 Report post Posted February 23, 2008 Can't believe Samuelsson was out there at the end of the game. Why him, WHY?

Sevumar 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2008 And the retarded Calgary announcers say that the "hockey gods were smiling on Kiprusoff and the Flames" in this game... Really? It takes divine intervention to beat a team with half a dozen injured players and a defense composed of AHLers? Well, congratulations. Wings played a good game with what they had to work with. Just do what I did and use the ignore on him. Believe me, it's worth it. Can't blame the D or Ozzie for this loss. If anything, they're the ones who ensured that this wasn't a blowout win for the Flames. The offense had their chances and couldn't bury them, complete with three dingers off the post. HudlerRULES 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2008 The Wings went winless in 9 straight games before the 2002 playoffs. Were you old enough to remember what happened in the 2002 playoffs?? I was actually with your mom that night..... sorry we were to busy debating whether to send you to special ed or just put you up for adoption. You're lucky i saved you and chose special ed
shannyfan1414 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2008 All things considered, i think that our D played well when you consider how much experience we had on the ice. I'm hoping the Chris is back tomorrow and that he can be out there to run our D men and help them out as much as possible. Ozzie played pretty well. I hope that he is not injured that he just tweaked something. Could have been worse and could have been a lot better. Kipper played very well and we hit a ton of pipes. We really picked it up in the third and created some decent chances. At least it is still the regular season.
puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted February 23, 2008 I am always amused by teams who are all excited about "earning" a shut out against a team missing a third of its top players to injury. But, whatever, I guess. I think the GR guys played as well as could be expected, better even.

evil204 4 Report post Posted February 23, 2008 Yeah, the "shoot the puck from the blue line" strategy doesn't work too well when all of our puck-shooting defensemen are injured.

freshy 181 Report post Posted February 23, 2008 Tough to see the Wings lose, but I was pretty happy with their play overall, all things considered. A number of posts, many no-calls, and a decimated team are a lot of obstacles to overcome on the road. Calgary fans should be the one's worried. They squeak out a one 1-0 win. What is that saying? Pskov Wings Fan 71 Report post Posted February 23, 2008 Lack of experience on defense hurts our offense. Young guys just do not execute reliably on the point.
