SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted March 1, 2008 (edited) That Stuart sure wasn't physical tonight. Yes, that is sarcasm on my part. Edited March 1, 2008 by SouthernWingsFan
Kp-Wings 3 Report post Posted March 1, 2008 Brad Stuart had 5 hits tonight, and had at least 2-3 good scoring chances as well. Nice way to make a good first impression. I'm so glad the Wings have Stuart. He's such a great all around defenseman. Hopefully, they can get him under contract for a couple years this summer. LidsFan 68 Report post Posted March 1, 2008 I am really liking Stuart. I hope that he loves being a Red Wing and wants to stay in Detroit. We could use a couple of more players just like him. I hope that the other Red Wings will follow his example and be more physical, especially Lilja.

WhiteLightning91 105 Report post Posted March 1, 2008 I hope he can only convince his wife to live in Michigan. Seems like the hardest part of getting him signed will be prying her from California...

Swede40 0 Report post Posted March 1, 2008 I don't think Stuart will be the knock down D-man everybody is hoping for...He'll be asked to be more of a puck mover and asked to shy away from his game...don't expect him to play like he was in Calgary. You're wrong
Never_Retire_Steve 35 Report post Posted March 1, 2008 I didn't get to see last night's game..... how did he look defensively?
Mors 201 Report post Posted March 1, 2008 I didn't get to see last night's game..... how did he look defensively? Solid enough, him and Kronner were our only dressed defensemen who didn't end up in the minus category
esteef 2,679 Report post Posted March 1, 2008 Solid enough, him and Kronner were our only dressed defensemen who didn't end up in the minus category Yep, Lilly was a -1 even though he was covering his man in front. Somebody (I think Homer) let their guy loose and he scored (2nd goal I think). But, to Lilly haters, it was probably all his fault.

Im an honest Lilja hater who judges what he does game by game. He wasnt horrible like he is most nights. Edited March 1, 2008 by #19=Legend
