I think I made a horrible horrible mistake.

I got my haircut on Wednesday right before game 4. I didn't think much of it at the time, but now that the Wings have lost two straight, I tried to remember back to the last time I got it cut. It was in mid-February, just as the Wings lost Lids and started their mini-slide.

I am usually not superstitious, I didn't even grow a playoff beard this year - but please, God - don't do this to me!

I hate to say it, but from a fashion perspective, the bracelets look good with some white in them. IMO, there is just enough white in there for the rest of the playoffs :)

you need to prove to us that you are a true fashion-ista before this statement is approved. :P

Yes, it is getting "huge" but its not usually so flattened out as I did it for the picture ~ its generally all in a twisted bunch.

And, NO, the white does not look good... it looks like crap and makes me pissed!

I never make a white bracelet prior to a game; I always have a red one ready to put on right after. If I have to make a white one, I cuss the whole time at it.

Anyway, there is PLENTY of room for 5 more red bracelets on there, don't you worry!!!!!

Let it be known...tonight we shall be adding a red bracelet. You heard it here first.

I dreamt of a 2-1 loss in game 5, and last night i had a dream the Wings won game 6 2-0 with a disallowed goal by Dallas. You heard that here first.

On a related note, I think I've found my playoff superstition for the year. I do counted cross stitch, including during those parts of the game when it's too close and tense to just watch. When the playoffs started, I was working on a giant mandala that'll take me another month or two to finish. I roates the big projects with little ones to keep from getting bored with a design, so I moved on to making biscornus (a type of pincushion) right before game 5 of the Nashville series. Finished a couple of them, and went back to the mandala right before game 4 of the Dallas series.

This afternoon, I put the mandala away again and dug out the supplies for another biscornu. Considering how they're playing tonight, I'm now stuck making pincushions through the rest of the remainder of the playoffs, even if I want to go back working on the mandala.
