not quite ... right now the sens and caps are both in and philly is one point out, but philly has 2 games left ... if the sens lose and the caps win then the caps are in, and if philly wins both remaining games then ottawa could be out ... but ... just to add to the confusion, carolina is losing right now, and if it stays that way, and boston beats ottawa, washington wins tomorrow, and philly wins one of their 2 games carolina would be out and ottawa would be in ...

That does seem really bad, but as far as conspiracies go you'd have to think the NHL desperately wants Ovechkin in....so they'd be helping the wrong team there.

Wow. Carolina drops it. If Washington snags one point tomorrow, they've got thereselves the THIRD seed. Crazy how much the standings change in todays league.

I'm not complaining. Ever since Ellis went on that shutout streak, Nashville's goaltending has been suspect. Not to mention their offense as well.

At any rate, Nashvlle should be any Wings fans #1 choice for the first time, simply because of distance.
