If Pittsburgh wins, they would have clinched the eastern conference title and first seed overall over Montreal. They sat Crosby and lose 2-0 to the Flyers, (the 2nd goal was an ENG) Wouldn't you think they would want to try to get home ice for as long as they could??? I really think Wash is more than capable of handling Philly especially if Huet stays hot. Philly has just seemed to have GREAT depth, I mean they have like what, 7 so goal scorers counting Prospal? kylee 727 Report post Posted April 6, 2008 Well, Kipper can steal a series from any team, Flamer's fans just have to hope he gets hot, but, this is hockey, not basketball, #1/2/3/4 doesn't mean a lot when the playoffs come round. i definitely understand that, but Calgary would pretty much have to play a total different game than last year: they were exposed, undisciplined and Kipper was not good. certainly anything can happen and to me, the best that could come out of that series would be it going to 7 games. but even that seems to be a tall order. but who knows.
