Nichols is as scrappy a player as you can get, and those are great to have in the playoffs. IMO, the Wings should try and end this series as soon as they can. Legwand is a make or break player. For every injured Nichol, theres an injured Kopecky. Legwand can be their excuse, but we already paid our dues last playoffs. And made a damn good go of it in spite of huge injuries. Nashville has shown a lot to make the playoffs with all they've gone through, but their 2 fans and the team have been so sick of losing in the playoffs, that we can only expect them to make more excuses. Guest DetroitBoy313 Report post Posted April 12, 2008 You may not use injuries as an excuse but injuries ARE A FACTOR.Bottom line if you got injuries to key players you won't win the cup,period.I truly think that if the Preds were 100% healthy they would be really dangerous,say if they had Sullivan,Legwand healthy.That's a big deal,soo obviously no player/coach is really gonna come out and say well if weren't injured,because injuries obviously play a role in a team's success without even mentioning them.But If IF's were fifth's we all be F--KED UP!
