Aside from Pronger burning in hell and Burke being the leader of all douchebags who lives inside Cambpell's circle of protection I really don't have a problem with these guys. I would have loved to play them again and send them packing for a sense of gratification on Bert and Schnieds..... in a perfect world. To answer the question how does Schnieds feel now, well he lives in SoCal so the primo golf courses aren't too far away, I'm sure he'll be fine. Yes, they did. And then when the dust settled, they looked at the scoreboard and realized, "Oh s***! We don't get points for hits...we actually have to score to win games!". They had trouble scoring ALL YEAR, and yet somehow all the "experts" talked about how they were big and strong and "made for the playoffs". But, surprise surprise, the scoring issues didn't just magically disappear, and in facing an elimination game they get held to 1 goal on 18 shots against a team with a relatively young d-corps, missing their top defender. This is a big a big *uck you *ucks! Have fun golfing and moreover *uck all the talking heads who were to busy blowing them to realize that they actually had glaring flaws! Gary Busey on acid could give a better interview. plus all she did was say "so marty turco. well you've sucked for quite some time. how does it feel to eek one out?" the guy just beat the defending champs and you're cutting him down? bite me. then there was this doozy: "well you won the first round, just how far can this team go?" what the hell is the man supposed to say. "its been a good run but i dont think we have what it takes to get passed round 2 TBH. that first one was too tough mentally and physically. but hey maybe all the LUCK that got us through this series will carry over..." but i digress. seeing the ducks out and wings move on in the same 8 hour span is simply gratifying. i dont hate the ducks. just pronger and neidermeyer and perry and bertuzzi and jiggy and carlyle and getzlaf and salanne and burke. Yemack 1 Report post Posted April 21, 2008 Guys, I don't know about you but the way Dallas played was absolutely amazing. Simply put I think they are playing better hockey than Red Wings 'right now'. Of course I have faith in Red Wings but it looks to me that they are extremely extremely motivated and determined. I think we do matchup better with Stars than Ducks. However! IF we do face Stars in later round.... I dunno, it is going to be a one hell of tough battle where we need to dig REALLY deep. anyway, by saying that SO LONG YOU DUCKS SUCKAS!!! LOL!!!! I know Lids is the god of hockey and took less to stay... but not everyone can be as perfect as a captain of the Wings. That aside, F#ck the half ass Ducks. Thats what you have when your 2 superstars only play half a season. That and that is actually the scientifically calculated amount of ass they put into playing in the series against Dallas. I have never been so happy and taken so much pleasure in with watching something crumble so badly as the Ducks have this season. I just cant stand all the love by talkin heads for Anahiem and Calgary. BLAH BLAH BLAH. All year long, starting with my fantasy mags before the summer was over. Almost had me believing that they were this insurmountable mountain of doom and peril that the Wings would have to get over to hoist the most cherished prize- if the Wings made the playoffs. Yes, there were even a few questioning that. AHhhhhh.... what a refreshing breath of fresh air. If there was an award for the most douchbaggary a person can have during a career, Crissy Pronger would be challenging for it annually. Seriously? Crosschecking the captain of the other team after its pretty much sealed that your team is eliminated? Weak. Almost as weak as Bertuzzi's backchecking. Nah. Thats not harsh enough. ---- How about as weak as the number of combined playoff goals scored by Bertuzzi, Neidermayer (the eldest) and Corey Perry? There. That sums it up nicely. Enjoy the view from the box. It should feel familiar to your team. Hard to score for your team in the first place, isnt it? Much harder Yoda say when you are down a man. I wish I could go deeper into the shared mutual feelings towards the majority of the players on that team, but I would be taking this beloved Wings forum and turning it into a Duck-bashing one. I just needed to vent a bit, and this has helped. Any one else feel as if Calgary is more scary a partner than the Sharks? I know I do. I hope the Sharks make it through.
