Ovechkin Responds

I quoted this directly off of the link that was posted above http://www.the700level.com/2008/04/alexander-ovech.html

You can't really make out what he was saying, not really sure why you're assuming he said what he said, plus, you can't even see him "turn to the Philly fans".

Actually, it's f*** Yeah. If you watch Ovechkin during the season, he screams it after each goal, so this is nothing new and nothing against Flyer fans. Just this time, the Versus mics were well placed to hear it.

After watching it ~15 times or so...I'm 100% confident its "f*** you!" There isn't a "ouuu" sound at the end of the word "yeah" and with that clearer picture you can see him look directly at the glass.

Hahahaha, Flyer fans got Owned!

Ehh I'm sure they wouldn't have hurt you. They probably would have just surrounded you and blew those damn train whistles in your face.

I love how the Flyers fans are all "oh, he's a ***** and he's classless" when they've been stupid the entire time. Good job, AO! Way to stick it to them!

Edited for accuracy. :P

What's not to like about AO?

Well I'd say his cockiness, his Stanley Cup Game 7 winning goal celebrations after every goal he scores, and this FU thing, all don't help me like him... Crosby on the other hand is cool, calm, and collected.

Is AO a great player? Yes. Do I like him? No.

Nothing.

He's a classy, hardworking hockeyplayer with a quircky sense of humor and he does great things for the community.

He's a superstar but doesn't act like one.

I like that.

AO is a little b*tch.

Excellent contribution

He doesn't celebrate like he just won the Cup when he scores, he celebrates like he just scored a goal. He's just a dude who loves to play hockey, and that translates in to one hell of a fun player to watch.
