That's only game 3, sdogg1m. We can't close this series out until Thursday at the earliest.

I think he's saying that Colorado has no chance of winning if we win on Tuesday.

Anyways... I love Steeeein. I'm expecting Tuesday he will be taking first in points leaderboard. Or at least I'm hoping.. wouldn't want to jinx his play or anything.

Debone a crow. Coat in egg, dredge in flour. Panfry until light brown. Place in a shallow pan. Cover with equal parts cream of crow soup and milk. Cook for about an hour at 320 degrees.

I'm calling it........Crowhan Franzen. And I'm eating it for saying he was one of the more tradable players on the team.

For those of you who said little Nik was a waste of money and had no potential, etc.- feel free to use this recipe for a tasty dish of Crow-nwall. (Yeah, I know it's not a long O. Work with me here.)

For our vegan friends, replace the milk with soy milk, the crow soup with mushroom, omit the egg, and replace the meat with crowfu.

Go, Mule! I'll never doubt you again.

I was out for entire 2nd period (had to) and when I came back I was in for a mild surprise.

If he keeps holding the puck and works hard, we will have NHL's first swedish power forward. God I'm sorta glad that Vancouver took Edler now.

The parallels with the 2002 Cup run just keep growing....

I, too, am afraid of Frazen's future. This kid is coming out this year, and could command a relatively big contract and role. Will he be willing to continue being a second liner (or first liner, I guess) with Detroit, behind Lidstrom, Datsyuk, Zetterberg, and Holmstrom? I'd hate to see him leave now that he's good.

Franzen is a mother ******* boss. I hope he gets the Conn Smythe trophy. If he keeps up his beastly play, he def. deserves it.

I think Franzen is humble guy and he loves the city of Detroit and his teammates. I think he will be signed as soon as it's possible and will stay in Detroit.

Hahahahah this is such a ridiculous streak for him, I was so excited when he netted the hat-trick.

[sarcasm]I'm sure this is what the Red Wings had in mind when they drafted him...Yea this guy will break Gorie freakin Howe's record for goals in the month of march, and will outscore Alexander Ovechkin in the last 22 games or so of the season.[/sarcasm]

But yea we REALLY need to get this guy locked up some how.

EDIT: I just noticed that his contract doesn't expire until after next year, so Kenny has all next season to evaluate, and get him signed.

The guy has been truely amazing. I have always liked his play even b4 he became a scoring maching. Think about it, he is tied for goals with a guy making 10M and second in points. A nightmare for tha Avs and a wounderful dream for the Wings. Your thoughts as to weather he can keep it up.

Trade him! He's useless!

Yeah, too small, squeezes the stick too tight, won't go into the dirty areas of the ice, never really notice that he's out there, and the guys and fans don't really like him. I mean c'mon, just look at his numbers. Trade him.

a little off topic...

Yeah, I remember when Dmac scored the hat trick in game 7 against Patty Whaaaaaah. Stevie was making fun of him in the post game presser. A paraphrase but it was somthing like " Mcarty scored 3 goals today, I think you have better odds of getting struck by lightning 3 times than him scoring 3 goals." it was priceless.

Franzenstein frickin Rules.

And I think the sky might fall or something, but on Franzen's first goal, when the puck came to Samuelson, I really thought, alright, puck to samuleson, logo hunter misplays puck, Avs clear the zone. But then, it was like, he threw a perfectly directed shot for Franzen to redirect past the best goalie left in the playoffs. Man, I have to say I didn't scream at the tv each time Sammy played the puck. Guess I'll be eating some crow as well. maybe not yet, it's early.

I think so, I mean he did in March, why not now. I just wish Homer would get back to his ways as well. Imagine Homer and Mule both doing what they do? DANG Teams would be a hurtin!!

Cleary was great all season until his jaw got busted. It seems like he hasnt done much since. He's not as aggressive on the boards, he doesnt get his nose into palys like before, its like he's backed off a step.

I usually let spelling go on account of not having perfect grammar myself but maching=machine and weather=whether
