Game should have been 4 to 1, could have been 6-8 to 1. Colorado had a couple quality chances they didn't capitalize on, we had four times that amount. Theodore wasnt their problem tonight we were the better team, im just glad he's not standing on his head but Theodore did have a solid game, the majority of the goals were tipped, Huds came close to sealing it with that post but the goalies didnt have a chance on most of the goals, either tips or out of position. Ozzie's only weak goal was brunette's 2nd goal which was a rebound of a bad angle shot from Sakic but the Defense gave Ozzie no help. Overall solid game from the Wizard of OZ. I know the Stanley Cup is the goal, but we're one win away from making it to the Conference Finals for the 2nd year in a row. Only thing with Ozzie tonight that I will semi complain about is he gave up a few too many rebounds. That and when he came out to play the puck a couple times he'd end up giving it to the Avs or at one point he gave it to Stewie who was out of reach and then it got stuck in our zone for about a minute or so. But yes he was awesome! I agree about the rebounds but he got it under control when it counted more than ever. He's just been strong...not crumbling at all when it gets a little tighter and just keeping it calm and then making big saves to keep us in it. He's just been great. Nothing short of it thus far. The top line was awesome, Franzen scored again, Osgood came up with some huge saves. On the downside, Filppula was brutal and the officiating was as bad as it gets. Only one goal by Franzen? What gives? Seriously though, the man is unstoppable. I'm glad to see our offense is stepping up when we need it most. At least 4 goals in 3 straight games. Datsyuk and Zetterberg were just outstanding tonight. The poor Avalanche can't get anywhere near healthy, which is a shame for them, but the Wings have taken advantage of it. I'm normally not one to jump to conclusions or get ahead of things, but I'll go on record: there is NO way the Wings lose this series. The Wings are playing too well and the Av's are too banged up. Jones has a hard-on for the avs because hes a former avs player, he knows the rivalry so dont watch versus its bias, he was pretty much coaching the avs with his commentary. Kronwall has been great all post-season. IMHO, Stuart has only been OK. He has had some pretty good games and some questionable ones.
