DET/DAL: 4-2

PIT/PHI: 4-3

Matt you made a mistake in my calculation,i had 34 points,and 19 from 2nd round.that's 53,not 40.

Just check the tables, and correct it plz,

thnx.

First and foremost, I think you have me confused with the owner of this site. Matt is the owner, and I'm just a loyal poster named NFM#25.

As for your scoring, I'm not sure how the mix-up took place. I would assume it happened some time in the autosort because your score is accurate on the spreadsheet I've created. That being said, the score of 53 you suggested isn't accurate either. Here's your scoring breakdown by round:

Round 1

DET-NSH 4-1: 7 points

SAN-CGY 4-2 :7 points

MIN-COL 4-3: 0 points

ANA-DAL 4-3: 0 points

MON-BOS 4-1: 6 points

PIT-OTT 4-2: 6 points

WAS-PHI 4-3: 0 points

NJD-NYR 4-2: 0 points

Total Round 1 Score: 26 points

Round 2

DET/COL: 4-2: 6 points

SJ/DAL: 4-3: 7 points

MON/PHI: 4-2: 0 points

PIT/NYR: 4- 3: 6 points

Total Round 2 Score: 19 Points

Cumulative Score: 45 Points

I will make the update, and recheck a sample of scores to ensure accuracy.

*** Note to -=Red_Force=- and #19=Legend ***

I found out where the mistake took place. The list section of the spreadsheet I created had your names reversed (in regards to alphabetical order). The correction has been made and your scores/rankings have been updated.

You can, but there's not much chance of finishing in the top 100 given that you are only able to pick up a maximum of 24 points in the next 2 rounds.

Sidenote: I wonder if I shouldn't weighting the point system next year given that the first round has 8 more points possible than the following 3 rounds combined. Thoughts anyone?

Since there's ultimately only bragging rights to be earned and since its more work for you and not me, why not do both. If someone was perfect through 3 rounds and was wrong in the final, they should have recognition for picking 14 of 15 rounds. BUT, they missed the most important pick, so it might be good that someone who was right for the final, but 12 of 15 for the playoffs also gets some bragging rights. I would add a little weighting to the later rounds, but I don't think I would make it an equal mix of points in each round.

Not sure I should bother. If I recall correctly I was top 10 after round 1 and I'm now 44th due to my failure to pick an underdog (mine was NYR) and being wrong in 3 of 4 series. Anyway, may as well see if I can buck that trend or go out in a blaze of glory(mediocrity?)

Dallas 4-3

Philadelphia 4-2
