Anomalously 0 Report post Posted May 26, 2008 Can't imagine the feeling Franzen has right now. Feels great, no headaches, doing everything in practice, team in the Finals, and can't play.

truebladearmy 33 Report post Posted May 26, 2008 NHL.com said he was likely to be in...fail. Yeah I saw that nhl.com was listing him as likely to be in just an hour ago. Pittsburgh may dodge the mule once more
Reds4Life 51 Report post Posted May 26, 2008 What do you mean? He was never confirmed to play game 2, so why is this odd? Really does suck though. Get well sooon Mule! I find it odd that Mule says he feels good, he could play, no headaches for a week and few hours before the game, he gets NO from docs.. Well, hopefully he will get approval for game 3. chuklz 15 Report post Posted May 26, 2008 When you have home ice, would you rather have your badass secondary scorer now or in Game 3 when you're away and they arent ready for him?

TheWestWing 71 Report post Posted May 26, 2008 Um, I get this from that link: The Detroit Red Wings will get a big boost with the return of one of their leading scorers. Swedish forward Johan Franzen has been cleared to play for Game Two of the Stanley Cup Final Monday night against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Franzen has been suffering from concussion-like syndromes and has not played since Game One of the Western Conference Final against the Dallas Stars. Frazen competed in a full practice Sunday and appeared ready to go. "It's better, I don't feel anything anymore. It's good. There will be so much adrenaline, it doesn't matter what shape you're in."
