Remains to be seen who shows up next game. Maybe they'd better put Cheli and Mac back out there, just for the hell of it. Sorry for NeverForgetMac#25. He and his wife were there, and this is what they got treated to, instead of the Cup... because the Wings stopped playing in the third with a 1 goal lead. Where have we seen that before tonight? We should have blown these f***ers out of the building from the 1st shift. Our laziness may have cost us the Cup, and if we lose this series, it would be by far the biggest disaster and worst loss since the Wings became a dominant team. Even if Hudler hadn't committed that stupid penalty, the Wings would have found a way to lose this one....reminded me of the Ducks winning in here in OT last year. I do realize that everyone is angered, but there's a difference between being pissed off, and the things you post on this board. Do you not realize how bad it makes you look when you are cussing the team up left and right and saying FU to certain players. You don't think they want to win this? Because we all know they do. They IMO had one bad period and that was the first. They outplayed the Pens for the majority of the last 5 periods. It had to take a stupid 4 minute penalty on us for those bastards to score. Calm the hell down. The most important thing is the Wings are up 3-2 in the series. Game 7 won't even happen. Is it so damn hard for some of you to be positive? savaking72 0 Report post Posted June 3, 2008 One question, how is it possible you play the crappiest 1st 2 periods when the cup is on the line? The giveaways in the 1st and 2nd were terrible. This loss is hard to swallow. The refs and the NHL are against us. There was so much obstruction missed, 3 boarding calls, tripping...and so on. Besides the refs, our powerplay sucks balls, or maybe the hot goalie at the other end is the reason. All I know is that this sucks. We better have an answer on Wednsday. Diving, holding, hooking and so on, wings do their share also. keep finding excuses for your team not being able to finish us off. I would like to see Osgood have that many shoots against him, the only reason he is a good as you people think is because of the people playing in front of him. Yeah, it sucked that Kronner knocked it off of the skate of a Penguin but the Red Wings came back. They had the game but didn't finish it. The bounces literally didn't go our way. We outplayed the ducks last year too. Unfortunately outplaying them just isn't good enough for this team, for whatever reason. If pittsburg had the puck as much as we did, or s*** even dallas or the sharks or nashville or calgary or the avs then I'm sure they'd rack up way more goals than us. I'm not jumping off the bandwagon, I predicted wings in 6 and I stand by that, but it's like an epidemic with this team. He NEED to start burrying their chances.
