The Wings are clearly the better team and will prevail... I must say, though that going to the net is playoff hockey and shouldn't be called, esp. when the goalie flops--they might have called them both at least once. How many hooking, obstruction and tripping penalties against the Pens could've and should've been called in the 3rd period. Instead of a 6 on 5 when the Pens pulled Fleury, at best it should've been 5 on 5 with the empty net. When the announcers on NBC and CBC are both criticizing the goalie interference calls you know that some kind of B.S. is going on. Their may be a small amount of blame for us here at LGW, Gary Buttnugget probably had some spies on our site and tilted the ring towards the Pens because of the Bounty on his incompetent ass. So all Pit. Fans should be eleigible for the bounty after we win the Cup there. So Pen fans a challenge has been issued to you, when the Wings win the puck there peg that ignorant, incompetent waste of air and space in the head or whatever body part you can make contact with!!!!! Force the Humiliation upon the FOOL with the splatting of the Octopi to replace the humiliation he should actually feel for his raping of the sport that all of us LOVE!!!! Why cant we just congradulate the better team for the night and move on to game 6? The refs let alot of stuff go tonight. It was like watching real hockey again. The final penalty would have been a penalty 50 years ago. The goaltender interference was a crap call on both, but they didn't score so get over it! I love LGW but lately everybody is pointing fingers after every SINGLE loss. its becoming quite tedious and old fast! The people pointing fingers are bandwagon fans plain and simple. They say they are Wings fans, but they are only here when the team does well. When the team is playing like ass, they are nowhere to be found. The only true fans of the Red Wings are the ones that can look objectively at a game, acknowledge that they were outplayed in the 1st and 2nd period, and say that they lost the game themselves tonight. If the game were called tight, there would have been 6 power plays in the first OT alone. Same with the second OT. Both teams were flopping around trying to get calls. Flamezfan 0 Report post Posted June 3, 2008 (edited) If the game was called tightly the first 10 secs of the game would have been the only time we would have seen 5 on 5. The rest of the game would have been 3 on 3 because of all the interference, holds, hooking, etc calls.
