The most annoying NHL teams

I was watching some old highlights of games and got it in my head, "Man, these teams and everything about them are just so damn annoying." Heres my list of the most annoying teams in the NHL and why.

1. Columbus Blue Jackets - Need I say more? The worst homers as announcers in the league. Pascal Leclaire. The stupid cannon that goes off after every goal. Pascal Leclaire. Their goal horn that sounds like me after i have too much Taco Bell. The fact that their crowd is made up of Ohio State fans. Rick Nash's pubic hair like beard. Pascal Leclaire's hair. Seriously, did anyone see that photo with him with his hair gelled up into a point? The fact that we'd have to see them 483 times a season.

2. Nashville Predators - Aside from the 2nd worst homers as announcers, is anyone else just sick of the stupid country music that plays after every goal? Seriously, this is a hockey game, not a rodeo. But people in Nashville don't konw that. Thinking throwing a catfish is somehow equal to the legendary octopus? Good thing they don't have those damn mustard custard jerseys anymore, that alone would qualify them to be number 1. Players with funny names like Tootoo, Bonk, Arnott, and Fiddler.

3. Pittsburgh Penguins - While I think everyone likes their youth and (once) explosive offense, any team with Sidney Crosby on it is going to get so much un-needed attention they probably don't deserve. Their fans who declare themselves the new Hockeytown, when two years ago they were mysteriously unable to name a single player? The way they react to Hossa's leaving after his being a Penguin all of four months? Sid's overexposure to the point where there'll soon be a tv reality show following him around everywhere to somehow promote the league more. Marc Andre Fleury, with his old yellow pads that didn't even match his team's jersey and his cockieness? "If I stick around, we'll be fine." No denying he's a great netminder, but keep your mouth shut until you actually win something.

Flyers and a good many of their damn fans. cuz theyre still dirty and a good deal of their fans are just as bad if not worse.

Boston cause they're well - boston.

toronto because they 'll never stop bein in favor of tryin to fillin the seats in their damn arena and start makin playoff and cup contenders.

Pittsburgh because of well see above. Ill leave out fleury though because Idk if hes cocky so I reserve judgement on him and hossa cuz I can understand how the fans felt when he dumped them cuz they didnt win the cup in favor of the team who did.

The Ducks, probably one of the most annoying teams in the NHL. Chris Pronger, need I say more? ....Chris Pronger.....enough said, because I could go on for ages.

Honorable mention: Flames, Sharks

Pittsburgh due to the fact no one will shut the hell up about them, even when they're gettin' whooped by a far superior team.

Vancouver due the fact I'm from B.C, and that's all I ever hear about.

Calgary/Edmonton for the same reasons above. (Edm & Cal are actually closer to where I live..)

Chicago and St. Louis.. You can't like either of these teams and be a Wings fan, I'm sorry.

Colorado for obvious reasons.

1- nashville i hate terry crisp announcing, i watch on mute if i have to watch a nashville feed for the game.

2- calgary - just the homer announcers the flames could be losing 20-0 with 0 shots on net and the announcers would still find a way to make it seem like calgary still has a chance etc etc. (and my bro lived there from 00-07 said he never even saw a flames jersey outside of the saddledom till thier playoff run year and he lived about 3 blocks away, now all he wants to do is buy the team and give them the gayest jersey ever so he never has to see a flames jersey again)

3- not really anyone comes to mind, i hate anaheim cuz they are anaheim and they have pronger and perry and i feel they poached bert and schneids last year (which actually worked out pretty good) and i hate burke

Chicago - There fans, there crappy management for years, and the mediocre players they ice every night that only come to play against the Red Wings.

St Louis - Everything. I cant stand the Blues at all.

Ottawa - Probably just me, I dont understand how all of Canada hoped on their bandwagon with a ****** like Alfredsson as there captain.

Anaheim - I just hate Anaheim in general. For some reason, I dont know what it is, I cannot stand Samuel Pahlsson, or Chris Pronger, but that ones self explanatory.

Nobody in Canada gave two s***s when the Sens made the finals. At least from what I read/heard..

In Alberta it was pretty bad, I mean I hate the Ducks, but I wanted Niedermayer to get a cup before Alfredsson got any. I dont have to worry about it anymore, because the Sens are done for at least 3 years.

I forgot Calgary, for me, it's how they always act big and tough, but cheap shot all the time. I also hate how they go into every season a cup favorite but miss or are out in the 1st round, dont get me started on the fans either.

Columbus, definitely. 90% of their "fans" wear Ohio State merch to the games, which is understandable for the area but still obnoxious. Also, seeing games at Nationwide is annoying because once the intermission hits it's all about football and basketball scores and there's a really annoying animosity towards all Michigan teams, no matter what sport. I don't even need to mention their T.V. announcers... they're by far the worst in the business, imo.

Vancouver ranks second because I just flat out hate that team and Jim Hughson's giant boner for them.

Anaheim Ducks - Pronger, Getzlaf and all other morons, + burke of course

Pittsburgh Penguins - CINDY CROSBY

Nashville Predators - Just a boring team to watch, fans sucks - all rednecks.

New Jersey Devils - Defensive skilled team but got no offense.

1. Pittsburgh Penguins- The media hype was disgusting and it was almost painful to listen to the biased commentary half the time. Terrian is a terrible coach and always complains. Their bandwagon is sickening and they say they are the real hockeytown because they sold out for 1 season........Sidney Crosby NEED I SAY MORE? Long term it will be hard to hate them because they are in the east and we won't play them enough to create an actual rivalry, but right now TODAY, I hate them more than anyteam in the NHL.

2. Colorodo avalanche-We all know the history... :ranting: but since the game 7 BEATdown and the sweep this year it just hasn't been the same (players are vastly different too, although some remain). They just aren't a legitiment threat to us anymore and rivalry is created by two teams that stand in each others way for a championship.

3. Anaheim Ducks-Burke, Pronger.....the 2003 sweep. I just really don't like the ducks. Goons.

"honorable" mention

San jose/calgary

How many games did you go to last season?

I went to 22 home games....mostly people wore CBJ stuff. I only really saw Ohio State stuff worn during the week building up to the Ohio State - scUM game and to the National Title game....

Of course I wore my Wings jersey just about every time :P

For me it's hard to say I find a team annoying or hate them, while the Wings are the defending Stanley Cup Champions.

My dislike for the Avs ended after 2002. I stoped hating the Flames after 2007, and since we have the Cup, I don't have hard feelings for Edmonton and Anaheim anymore.

The next time we lose in the playoffs, those feelings will come back.

Pittsburgh has moved to the top of the list since the finals.

They are acting like they are one of the elite teams in the league and should have one the cup.

First off, the finals was not even close. We killed them. Final score 17-10. They one 1 game by 1 goal and a second game in triple overtime. The Wings dominated and if not for their rental player, it would have been a sweep.

Your 10 minutes of fame are up, now go away already along with a big portion of you players.

They couldn't come close to beating us with the team intact, now they are just another also ran...
