I got my winter classic jersey that I order from DHGATE.com today. I am really impressed with it, it may not be perfect , but I love it.

what is the seller's name on dhgate where you got that jersey and how much (including shipping)? Just want to see if he has any others in his store. Thanks!

Got my bounty of 6 jerseys from "Jack" today. The good news is, the Winter Classic jerseys are improved. They no longer have the white overlay on the captain C and assistant A. They also no longer have the numbers on the sleeves. The stitching on these are top notch versus the jersey I got from lightinthebox.com however the material is thinner. Overall really nice. I can provide pics if anyone is interested.

+1

My only beef is the name box on the back isn't straight. By a good half inch. On both jerseys.

But f*** it, $110 delivered with fight strap!!!

I don't know if the people who think these jerseys look good have seen the real ones.

When I was at the Wings game out here in so cal earlier this month, I saw a few fake jerseys(one being the winter classic one) and man do they stick out like a sore thumb. They were absolutely hideous. Especially if they are 110 dollars for a fake one...why not pay a little extra and get a real replica as opposed to a fake authentic, they are much more authentic than the garbage all these frauds are selling.

How exactly do they "stick out like a sore thumb"? I mean unless they have the numbers on the sleeve (which the real ones don't) or the off color 'A' or 'C' then it pretty much looks like the same jersey at half the price

I just got a Ovechkin jersey that looks great, and I just ordered a winter classic Zetterberg jersey from the same guy. No numbers on the sleeve and no 'A' patch which I'm fine with. I paid $60 (shipping included) and I don't think you can beat that price. Nothing in the picture from both jerseys screams "fake"

Maybe I'm just lucky?

if the fake jerseys were $110 then I would just spring for a real one but I haven't paid more than $45 for any jersey I've gotten which is about $150 less than any customized jersey on nhl.com (plus after reading on here those jerseys are poor quality anyway) Yeah the jerseys have some differences but nothing super noticable unless you've got a great eye for things like that. Wearing my jersey to the Target in Mt. Pleasant no one even knows who Lecavalier is let alone to know that the 4 on my jersey is a little different from the authentic. Needless to say I've gotten about 20 jerseys from China for about $870 which would only buy me 4 from nhl.com. I can live with a slightly different font or color shade to save that much money. To each their own I guess.

Somewhere in these three quotes you will find your answer. Not all of us want to spend $150 because the lettering and numbering is exact. Some of us would rather spend $150 on 5 Jersey (including Shipping and handling) and have the lettering and numbering be a little off.

For me I just want to be able to walk around NH in a Wings Jersey and the $150 my folks shelled out for my Dats X-mas gift Jersey was a hell of a lot more than I would have spent, but then again I bought myself 5 jerseys (Zetterberg, KG, Lawrence Maroney, Ronaldo, Dice K) from LITB for less than the $150 they spent.

The Jersey look different up close, from 10-15 feet away to me they look the same, like a Red Wings Jersey.

I have a serious question:

If you are going to be super anal about what the Jersey looks like, stitching, name size, patch location, smell or whatever else, why bother buying a discounted cheap replica? If it means so much to you, logic would dictate you spend the coin for the real deal.

Otherwise buying a cheap knock off and expecting it to be the real thing is a little weird. Would you buy a Rolex off of the street in Mexico for your wife/gf/husband/bf and get pissed when you could hear it tick?

The point of posting this link (IMO) was to show people how to get cheap jerseys, not how to get completely accurate game worn authentics for 22.18!

I wore my fake $55 WC Datsyuk to the Griffins game the other day and was approached by people saying how nice my jersey was.

Although not an exact copy it is far better made with better materials then the $225 "real" one I saw at Hocketown with its thin material and iron on D.

OK, got the pics up of the jerseys I just got from "Jack" including the revised Winter Classic jersey. http://www.flickr.com/photos/34060409@N04/

Now, for a fake that looks a lot better than the ones with numbers on the sleeves - obviously some things are still not right but the proportions are good with lettering and the red stripe so i think i may look at getting one of these :)

ha I think I saw you there. I was sitting with my friend in the upper bowl and pointed out a "Jack Wu" jersey before the game started in the lower bowl behind the visitors goalie talking to someone. Jersey looks great and it's really easy to take the numbers off the sleeves if it bothers anyone that much. Mine came off with ease as did the red around my D on the front. I had my mom sew it back on with white thread and you'd never know it was a chinese fake. Just an FYI for everyone that has one.

Here's a good comparison for people who don't want to "stick out like a sore thumb"

Jersey Comparison

I took pictures of all the jerseys I got from Jack Wu and light in the box and compared them to the real thing so you can see the differences. Some have more than others but I wouldn't say any of them stick out that badly, especially when they're not directly next to a real one. I still have a few more to add including the revised Winter Classic I had my mom fix but those will come later. Hopefully this will help the people out who are skeptical of getting a chinese fake.
