lyongoalie29 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2008 yep all of them are from jerseys-nhl.com. From my experience I would say it's not a scam. So far I've ordered 11 jerseys from him and got them all within a week of ordering in perfect condition. I've had a much better experience here than with NHL.com plus he has a secure paypal account which makes him a little more trustworthy IMO. If you want anymore pics just let me know
Zion 93 Report post Posted December 31, 2008 Thank you for posting. The gentleman you speak of is asking for a minimum 50 order for blank Red Wings Winter Classic jerseys. I can't do that, but I'm hoping someone can. That looks like a great jersey to customize with the neck laces, Winged Wheel on the shoulders, and I personally love the red numbers on the sleeve. thedisappearer 291 Report post Posted January 1, 2009 I rolled the dice and ordered 2 today, a Lidstrom for myself and a Datsyuk for the wife for our anniversary. We shall see.
lyongoalie29 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2009 Besides the numbers on the sleeves I see the C and A on the chinese jerseys are white but on the actual jerseys they're red. Although my mom took off the top layer pretty easily (and sewed it on my Nash jersey which didn't have a C). There are a few other differences but nothing super noticable outside of those two
ZETTERBERGPWN 2 Report post Posted January 1, 2009 This thread needs a BUMP! Zetterberg and Chelios Red Jerseys are back in stock at http://www.lightinthebox.com/wholesale-NHL-Jersey_c1595 they also have white zetterberg jersey too
Zion 93 Report post Posted January 1, 2009 Good posts. Is it possible to remove the player names and numbers without it looking painfully obvious?
Zata fan 40 6 Report post Posted January 1, 2009 lettering on the back is thinner and slightly lighter.
lyongoalie29 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2009 Good posts. Is it possible to remove the player names and numbers without it looking painfully obvious? I tried to have my mom remove the numbers from the sleeves but they were glued on (meaning you could remove them but you'd be able to see an outline where the numbers once were) Therefore, I would assume the rest of the numbers are glued on also. The names might be ok because it's a name plate, looks like those could be removed easily.

Chelichic 12 Report post Posted January 2, 2009 (edited) ^ ^ look here Jack sent me an email saying he has #5's and #40's in. The others will be in by the end of the week. He included a pic of a finished #5. Looks great. He has a pic attached to his post. Edited January 2, 2009 by Chelichic
lyongoalie29 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2009 Here is a picture of the jersey I got from "Jack Wu" and one I got from frozenpond.com When they are right next to each other the differences are obvious. Although my jersey from frozenpond.com doesn't have the NHL logo on the neck and the real ones do so who knows if either are really the real replicas. All I know is one cost me over $100 not customized and it took over a week to get (frozenpond.com) and the other came customized from china for only $45 and I got it in 6 days. lyongoalie29 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2009 that's odd i thought the china shirts had the white "C" and "A" on the jerseys they did but my mom (a professional seamstress) took off the white layer after I saw the real jerseys were red. Turns out the Nash jersey I got from "Jack Wu" didn't have a C so it made a perfect addition to that jersey
rallyfire99 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2009 would your mom switch the C's around for me? I live 15 min. north of you. or does she have a bussines

Hockeytown Red Wings 245 Report post Posted January 3, 2009 I just ordered a jersey from Light in The Box. I'll let you guys know how it goes for me. It was 50 bucks with over half of that being shipping. I'm still skeptical about a 22 dollar hockey jersey, but if it's decent, I'll be happy.
Hocketownwest 11 Report post Posted January 3, 2009 Here is my Zetterberg Jersey from "Jack". I also took off the white from the A but this necessitated me cutting a small triangle in the red, not for the faint of heart. Its a size 54 but measures 56 so its a little larger than anticipated. Also be aware the pattern cut of these do not have the current Reebok tapered side mesh panels, this one is more old school. That and the letters are a little off and the name is on a seperate panel. lyongoalie29 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2009 would your mom switch the C's around for me? I live 15 min. north of you. or does she have a bussines I'm sure she could do it since it only took her about 10 minutes to take my C off and sew it on my new jersey. if you're just looking to take the C off it's actually really easy to do but you just gotta be careful to not cut the jersey
lyongoalie29 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2009 (edited) did she get the numbers off the arms too? she looked at them and took a couple threads off but they were glued enough to where if you took them off you could still see the outline of the number in reddish/pinkish glue so I made her put it back on. Good thing I actually like the numbers on the sleeves Edited January 3, 2009 by lyongoalie29

Bluedevils_13 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2009 (edited) Ok, I don't really want to sort through all of these pages to find an answer, so maybe someone can help me. I am going to buy a winter classic jersey from the Dhgate website, is this site trustworthy, and how long has it taken for some of you to get your jerseys who have bought from this site? Also I'm about 5'8" and like 160lbs, what size would be a good size for me to order Edited January 4, 2009 by Bluedevils_13

Also I'm about 5'8" and like 160lbs, what size would be a good size for me to order I don't really have much experience from that website but I've read positive reviews a couple pages back. I can tell you that jerseys-nhl.com has a decent product for relatively cheap and shipping has never taken over a week. Personally I've gotten 8 jerseys from there and have 3 more on order all of which are very good quality (better than lightinthebox.com). if you go back one or two pages someone ordered 10 jerseys from a seller at dhgate and had a great experience, you may want to find out what the seller's name is and try to get stuff from him.
