Reilly 24 Report post Posted October 12, 2008 So far, Hossa has been a s***ty addition to this team. Neither of the top two lines have done much of anything.
McCartyFanForLife 17 Report post Posted October 12, 2008 Considering they walloped us, I don't think it makes us look too good to see them getting beaten 6-1 on their next game. They didn't wallop us; they beat us by 1 and we had like 30 turnovers. Hardly a walloping
The Mule 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2008 Go have a gallop somewhere out on the pasture and relax. It's game 2 of 82. Terrible perspective. It doesn't matter what game it is; every point counts. People said the same thing after game one, which we lost, and now here we are in game two, losing.
Guest mindfly Report post Posted October 12, 2008 YoungGuns1340? A bit bitter ain't ya? Something is not right with this team though, hossa messed the chemistry up or something haha Seriously, Zetterberg where are your skillz, you're like hudler now.. small and annonymous. Z and D for the C 712 Report post Posted October 12, 2008 (edited) So far, Hossa has been a s***ty addition to this team. It's the second game of the year, he's not going to score a goal every shift. He's done been than Zetterberg thus short. Edited October 12, 2008 by Z and D for the C

YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted October 12, 2008 Neither of the top two lines have done much of anything. You're right. But the reason our top two lines are as they are is because of Hossa being added. And its really done nothing but create two very mediocre and disoriented lines. Aussie_Wing 354 Report post Posted October 12, 2008 Yep, the posts have started about the need for Downey, as though he's the difference. But not going to get into this argument. Agree with the Hossa post though, he's playing well and is an elite player, but he hasn't helped this team in the slightest, yet.

Again, Im not calling Hossa out as the only guy. But he IS the reason Hank and Datsyuk arent together, and we have 2 lines doing nothing while our best shift of the 2nd period came from our fourth line. Guest Agalloch Report post Posted October 12, 2008 Actually, Hossa has been one of about two Red Wings that I think has looked good so far this season. He's creating TONS of opportunities. Not cashing in yet, but at least he's creating something unlike Zetterberg's line which is just getting manhandled and doing absolutely nothing.
Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted October 12, 2008 Put ZDH back together and use Cleary and Filpula more. No more Lilja this game, we just cant afford it.

Well a fight right now would be a real boost for the team...something they desperately need as the wings are flatlining. Hes not the difference, just he would be VERY usefull right now. Cern 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2008 Don't tell me how to react. If you dont like what others say, go play nices with the other little boys and girls next door. This is a forum for expressing your feelings, so shut up about me expressing mine. Yes, maybe if you whine loudly enough Babcock will be able to hear you in the third period Either have some faith or jump off the bandwagon already.

Im most pissed off about the way Zetteberg is getting manhandled off the puck. Thats not to say our other forwards (and defenseman) arent, but this is a guy whos strong suit is his ability to protect the puck. Hes been s*** at it so far.
