I'd have a personal preference to reverse it (obviously since the Wings are the road team that's not possible), but that isn't going to stop me from grabbing one of these up. Ideally i'd do without the "Winter Classic" patch. Love it! I love it too, and could do without the lace-up (yes Matt I know you're about it) and the winter classic patch. Personally, I love the Red Wings logo on the shoulders and the lace-up neck. I guess if you were really anal about keeping all of the elements from the 1926 jerseys intact, you wouldn't like this one, but I think it's great... A perfect mix of new and old. Especially considering the Premier is $149.99...for a screen print. I have an old black Wings Center Ice practice jersey, screenprinted logo and got it for $20 without any complaints.
