Jedi 1,865 Report post Posted October 31, 2008 Give credit where credit is due. McLellan has instilled a great work ethic there in SJ, and they have played a great game. The Sharks have played like Detroit was playing against their opponents last year. That said, it has to be painfully obvious to everyone involved that there are issues on this team now. Yes, we had the late game last night and the late arrival into SJ, but that can't be used as an excuse. They just aren't playing the way that we know (and hopefully THEY know) that they can. San Jose out played us. They beat us at their own game, and I've got to be honest, they looked damn good doing it too. On to Vancouver. You are so superior to all those fans of other NHL teams who said the Wings would just get beaten in the first round for that three season stretch between 03 and 06. Congrats.
