However your opinion isn't gospel truth (nor is anybody else's) and it's not right to force your opinion down people's throat like it is gospel truth acting like everybody else is a dumb moron that doesn't think like you. Other people on here like baseball. I like it. Does that make me stupid? In terms of the whole worry/expectations thing, success leads to high expectations. That's fair, as long as you keep your expectations realistic and know you aren't going to win it all every year or win every night etc., and I think most people in here are smart enough to realize that. For worrying regarding the play and overall record, it is legitimate as well since the play has been sloppy at times, but no matter what the record is or how well a team might be playing, regardless of who the team is, huge fans are always going to worry excessively, over analyze, and so forth. They are expecting waaay much more for what they gave him. With Hossa we added to what was already great and so we all expect more... naturally. They gave him $4.25 million over 5 years, so naturally they're expecting big things from him. Personal attacks fly around here like Lang and Lilja suck and bring back Fedorov threads do. In truth, i'm trying to stick to constructive topics and trying to avoid the ones that end up in flame wars. But in this case, thrash was just coming off like a jerk. Telling people what they are allowed to say and do on this board? I may be nasty at times and i'm hyper opinionated, to a fault. I may tell somebody they're dumber than a bag of hammers but I would never tell them they can't say what they want to say. Z Winged Dangler 2,082 Report post Posted November 18, 2008 there's 65 more games for the wings to decide what seed they want to be in to start the playoffs. and that's what it's all about...the playoffs. the wings have had a tendance over the past few years to start off slow and turn it on after 20-25 games. they use the all-star week to recover minor injuries and domiate down the stretch to get ready for the playoffs. no worries...come playoff time the wings are gonna ******* destroy everyone. i personally hope the western final is Wings vs. Sharks so we can harpoon those assholes again. The Sharks will win the cup, Pronger will win the Norris, and Datsyuk will be sent back to Russia to play pond hockey. I think the salary cap is finally getting to those Wings guys. In those first 17 games last season, there was a nine-game winning streak included. I think we can all agree the Red Wings can play better. Yet in perspective this Red Wings team (fresh off a championship) is on the same pace as a year ago. The Sharks only have six more points than the Red Wings and have played three more games. Arguably, the Sharks can't play any better than they have, while the Red Wings most certainly can/will improve. We're going to be fine. 29 other teams/fans would take our "problems."
