Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted December 2, 2008 Point shots are nice and all when they get deflected and go in*, but can't we put some on goal from in the slot for once? The Wings have had lots of success working the puck down low and getting guys open in the middle of the ice (especially Hank), but they seem to get into stretches where they just expect every Lidstrom shot to bounce off three guys and in. They're no more controlling this game than if they were firing pucks into the wall in the visitors lockerroom. And they're no less likely to score from there, either. Frustrating.... They hold onto the puck on the rush until all the oppositions players have entered the zone. They hold onto the puck too long on the point until the opposition has clogged up the lanes.
