Point shots are nice and all when they get deflected and go in*, but can't we put some on goal from in the slot for once?

The Wings have had lots of success working the puck down low and getting guys open in the middle of the ice (especially Hank), but they seem to get into stretches where they just expect every Lidstrom shot to bounce off three guys and in. The unit pretty much spent the whole PP just trying to get Nick open for the shot.

..And not getting on the rebound when he does..

Seriously, could we control this game any more than we already are?

We're now outshooting the f***s 27-8.

They're no more controlling this game than if they were firing pucks into the wall in the visitors lockerroom. And they're no less likely to score from there, either.

Frustrating....

Jesus ******* christ. This team has so many issues holding onto the puck too long.

They hold onto the puck too long in the defensive zone.

They hold onto the puck on the rush until all the oppositions players have entered the zone.

They hold onto the puck too long on the point until the opposition has clogged up the lanes.

Its incredible...
