whitneydatsyukrox 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2008 Draper is just a machine on face-offs tonight (and in general). It's like, puck drops, it gets shot straight back to the Wings.

Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted December 2, 2008 Amazing, that they suddenly are able to fluidly move the puck out of their zone and down ice. One good pass, and out.

YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted December 2, 2008 Amazing, that they suddenly are able to fluidly move the puck out of their zone and down ice. One good pass, and out. Its encouraging, but have the Ducks even been playing tonight? They've looked dangerous on maybe 2 or 3 shifts the entire game. You can tell they're dead tired. YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted December 2, 2008 Wings win, but I'm not convinced. The Ducks had no energy tonight. And if I seem to remember correctly, an awful lot of people were using the ecuse "well the Wings played the night before when they lost to the Ducks." Anaheim also had to travel further than Detroit had to.

You can tell they're dead tired. True. I'll take the Wings preying on a tired squad instead of vice versa for a change, that's for sure. They did what they should have done, and held a team that probably didn't have a full tank to virtually nothing. Were it not for some rotten luck this probably wouldn't have been close. Ozzie didn't really have anything to do, but I'm glad he was able to get a W with just one goal against.
