Guest CaliWingsNut Report post Posted December 26, 2008 (edited) McDonalds is resuming it's NHL advertising starting w/ the Winter Classic. It also will be advertising at the all-star game and has been named by the NHL (US & Canada) as official restaurant. People attending the game in certain sections will recieve some sort of 5$ gift card during intermissions. McDonalds ads on nhl.com, nhl network, nbc, versus, etc. http://www.mediapost.com/publications/?fa=...p;art_aid=97142 Edited December 26, 2008 by CaliWingsNut

Chunkylover 26 Report post Posted December 26, 2008 That's an encouraging sign. Big businesses don't enter into agreements like that lightly. When Wal-Mart signs up to be the official grocer of the NHL, we'll know we made it.
Stinkyness 10 Report post Posted December 26, 2008 I would have preferred Carl's Jr myself. But, its progress I suppose. Now if we can arrange daily cholesterol laden, artery clogging meals for both Bettman and Crosby so as to fast track the ultimate enhancements to our favorite sport, I'd consider buying a happy meal. BlueMonk 102 Report post Posted December 26, 2008 Say what you will about McDonald's (I don't like the food much, either), but they are the best run fast food chain by far. They just do sh** right. They're faster getting you through the drive-through and don't f**k up your order nearly as often as the other chains do. Plus, they're the only ones you can always count on to have that garbage can with the long chute as you pass through the drive-through. You know, the one you can dump all the trash in your car into on your way out so you've got room to put your drinks in your cup-holders.

Echolalia 2,961 Report post Posted December 26, 2008 As much as everyone hates Bettman, I really think these past couple years have been some of the most productive in history in terms of aiming for growth.
