55fan 5,133 Report post Posted January 17, 2009 Working here too. Happy that I have the part time gig to tide me over through the layoff, so I can't complain. I'm going with Homer, Kronner, Sammy and Malts. Sharks will be tough. They're a good team, and we'll have to play lights out to beat them. I'm guessing 4-3, with us squeaking by at the end for a breathtaking extravaganza of amazing hockey.

GoWings1905 2,694 Report post Posted January 17, 2009 This is a big game. I am pumped up for this one. For all the hype the Sharks have gotten (and rightfully so) to start this season, the Red Wings could be first in the conference with a win tonight. That is pretty special for a team that by all accounts hasn't played anywhere near their collective potential yet. Red Wings: 3 (Rafalski, Franzen, Hudler) Sharks: 2 (Marleau, Clowe) Let's Go Red Wings!
David 2 Report post Posted January 17, 2009 Can't wait for this one. I finally got internet set up in my new apartment and if I'm at home I'll certainly be watching a stream.

RedWingedKitten 9 Report post Posted January 17, 2009 SHARKIES BEWARE, THE OCTOPUS DESCENDS UPON YOU!!! OUR TENTACLES WILL BLOCK OUT THE SUN!!! (and no, you will not get to play hockey in the shade) And most of all, win it for CERN!!!
wingnut40 176 Report post Posted January 17, 2009 I didn't realize how close we were to San Jose! We gotta win this one in regulation. I think we can do it. I'm predicting 5-3 win with mostly secondary scoring. OUR TENTACLES WILL BLOT OUT THE SUN!!! Fixed it for ya.
The Mule 0 Report post Posted January 17, 2009 I don't like the thought of Ozzie in net against the Sharks, but we'll see how it goes.
T-Ruff 47 Report post Posted January 17, 2009 4-1 Sharks. Always predict a loss. Then if the Wings lose, you're right so you're happy, but if they win, you're happy because they won, and you forget you were wrong. Works every time. I wouldn't be happy correctly picking a Wings loss Pumped for this one.... Lets take 1st in the West!
Shaman 713 Report post Posted January 17, 2009 the Guppies should watch out, the wings want to show them who is the #1 team and who is the pretenders.
HOCKEY MATTERS 167 Report post Posted January 17, 2009 This game is huge and will set the bar for the rest of the season. The boys need to come put flying and pressing hard. We are going to have to be physical this game and crash the net. Cross crease passes and going up high is key! No snow is keeping me from going out and watching this game with fellow LGW Members. Hardcore here! Lets. Go. Wings. Me either. There will be at least 2 of us there! Jake too if he's feeling better.

Casey 145 Report post Posted January 17, 2009 I'll go against the Accuscore prediction of 4-3 Sharks and go with 3-2 Wings. Ozzie's been playing well of late (even in the Stars game), and big games bring out his best.
SFwingsfan 23 Report post Posted January 17, 2009 I'm rather annoyed that I can't get the FSN Detroit feed, but at least they are letting us see the CSN-Bay Area feed in high definition. I don't mind the SJ announcing team usually. I live in a high rise apartment building in Chicago so I can't have a dish which means i'm always at the mercy of dreaded Comcast cable and what they choose to give us in regards to CenterIce. Anyways, this is what it's all about tonight folks, LET'S GO WINGS!!!!!
Blaayze 25 Report post Posted January 17, 2009 SHARKIES BEWARE, THE OCTOPUS DESCENDS UPON YOU!!! OUR TENTACLES WILL BLOCK OUT THE SUN!!! (and no, you will not get to play hockey in the shade) And most of all, win it for CERN!!! ... it blocked me out in the picture. In that game I was one of the jerks who got the "seat upgrade" right behind the net.. well we got there later then the first guys so we were behind them in the second row. Still, kicked so much ass. You can really appreciate the speed of the game from down there, holly crap. (Now we have season tickets in 215 -- Still good, just doesn't seem as fast. lol)
CAredwingsfan91 28 Report post Posted January 17, 2009 Norco and Petaluma are two different towns in separate halves of the state, wise one. yeah I just googled Petaluma and its waaaay up in Northern California Norco is down here by Ontario and Corona.
