For being in the Central Division and for playing generally good games against us, I just can't get excited for a Nashville game. Probably the Western team I care the least about. Meh. Hope the Wings crush them, I'll be at work.

I am not sure I will be able to watch this game but I hope we will take this game. Last game against the Preds was a poor performance and lack of motivation and effort. We have to come up big this time to make the revenge on them.

Hopefully, our PK on the ROAD, defenses, and Conklin will be able to do their job as last two games. Even though we score few goals and if we win, that will be fine. But if we score a lot and allow a lot of goals as many of our games this season, that will not be acceptable.

Zetterberg has been good lately so hopefully now this time he can score.

Wings take this game over the Preds by 3-1

14 to 3. Tootoo gets carried off on a stretcher after Datsyuk makes him miss hard.

I think Toots is out or questionable for this game. I think he's still bitching about a laceration on his palm and can't feel the puck. When did he ever touch the puck is my question. Either way, we should bring the stretcher just in case, cause I'm sure that tool will need it regardless if he plays or not.

I'd be surprised if Conklin actually got the start again tonight, even though he has been the better goalie. The way to get a goalie playing well again isn't letting him cool down on the bench and it might be good for Osgood to get a start against a struggling Nashville team.

Hopefully Detroit can keep playing the way they have been the last two games (minus the third period of the Edmonton game) and hopefully Nashville's trouble on the power-play continues for at least one more night.

Are the wings really motivated and excited enough to play nashville this time of year?

I have to miss this, but for those of you watching, keep an eye out for a sign that says "we love you" in the language of every player on the team. Chelischick will be there representing, and she made that sign with the help of some nice members here who helped with the translations. It's a beautiful thing when we all come together for our Wings.

Wings win 5-0.

Hossa gets a hattie. I had a dream last night that he was in the penalty box and flipped someone behind him the bird. This is an omen or a sign or something.

Damn, I hope not... Miss your breakfast SeeinRed?

Sad though, look at the way Wings fans have resorted to looking for physical play... A missed check from the opponent... lol.

There's a lot of things I don't like about the "new" NHL, but one thing that I do like is that we play Nashville a lot. They're a fun team to play against. I'd start hating on Tootoo, but I'm still recharging my hate-o-meter from the game against Crosby.

I'm glad Conks is starting. Babcock gave Osgood plenty of chances. Osgood comes up with some really good saves, but bottom line is that while Conklin isn't 100% consistent, he is still significantly more consistent than Osgood.

Another FSN+ game? This is ridiculous.

Yeah, I'm dissapointed. I love watching the Wings in HD. I hope that next season they're able to do more games in HD. Thank goodness I at least get FSN+. WOW Cable recently moved FSN+ from their analog range (14) to the digital range (195). So the WOW customers that have TV's without cable boxes won't be able to watch.

My other pet peeve is Versus games because WOW doesn't offer versus in HD. I always make sure to call and complain every time a game is on Versus.

Per the Freep

Babcock didn't reveal his goalie for tonight after Sunday's game, but sounded a confident note that Chris Osgood, who has an .880 save percentage, will round the corner soon. "He'll get cranked up," Babcock said. "I think we've got real good goaltending. I don't think it's been good every night, but they're both good people and they work hard and they'll be back and rolling."

If he plays, he hasn't played a game yet after the butt-kicking Bertuzzi put on him in Calgary. They are saying he has a hand/wrist injury.

Tootoo and Belak are game time decisions. Tootoo has a deep laceration that keeps him from holding his stick properly, not sure about Belak.

To the thread starter, you have Rinne's stats wrong. His GAA is actually higher, and he has four shutouts, not two.

And just a note on my presence here, I hope no one minds, and I promise not to be too disruptive. Just trying to dispel the stereotype that not all Predator fans are hockey-ignorant and stupid. In fact, most of us are articulate and know the game very well.

Here's our GDT, just FWIW.

Hopefully the wings continue to play like they have the last couple games, I agree Nashville does pick up their play against the wings, but who doesn't? Everybody likes a shot at a defending champion.

3-2 wings in reg.
