Did I just witness Datsyuk NOT pass and take it to the empy net himself? There's a first time for everything, huh? Although I guess it was the smart move as Hank wasn't completely in the clear there and could have been stripped as soon as he got it.

Euro twin have done it again. I have to go out right now so I am going out. Not a bad performance but we cannot call this game as the perfect performance. This game showed up the problem of our 3rd pair of defenses and 4th line still. I hope Stuart will be back soon.

Send Kopecky down and bring up Downey. Kopecky even cannot provide the physical play but makes some unnecessary penalties. Downey can play physically.

Good to see Conks was enough. 1st goal was pretty weak but he was enough to win this game again. Like the 3rd goal, it is a defenses problem.

Datysuk and Zetterberg should for sure stay on the same line, they've been dominating the score sheet. Hossa too, he plays real well on his line. When Franzen gets back stick him on Hossa's line.

Damn, soon datsyuk is top3 in scoring is he not?

1 point behind Ovechkin, but Ovechkin has a game in hand. 4 points behind Crosby, but Datsyuk has a game in hand. Either way, considering none of the top 3 are HALF the player Datsyuk is defensively, and the he gets 2-3 minutes fewer per game than all those guys, what does that say?

Best forward in the NHL this season.

Agreed. At least so far.

Exactly. Two players between Pav and Hank, one of them right on top of each. Risky play to try to dish it to Hank off the backhand so he just put it in the net. If there'd only been one guy back I'd imagine he would have tried to pass it but oh well. More fantasy hockey points for me

Would I be wrong in saying if the season ended today Datsyuk would be the odds on favorite for the Hart trophy? Considering both Malkin and that other guy on the team who's name escapes me wouldn't make the playoffs and Datsyuk's D game is parsecs beyond Ovy's I'd think it'd make sense.

Best forward since December, so far. Lets be modest, Pavel always is.

Zetterberg and datsyuk must stay together and they probably will but the 2nd line could be Hossa-Franzen-Cleary, but injuries ruin everything... I think hossa look a bit lonely out there no superstar next to him, still he manage to set up points...so i guess it works but not the best way

Mike said after the game he'll continue to "play everybody with everybody so we know what all our combinations are."

Hart, Pearson, Selke, Lady Byng, and in a few more games the Plus-Minus Award :D
