At least better than Osgood is in the net. Realize the truth.

The truth is Ozzie is struggling. There's no denying that.

The truth is also that I support Ozzie as someone who would give his left arm to be a Red Wing.

I understand emotions run high on nights / games like this, but some posts are quite absurd.

The "truth" is in the eye of the beholder I gues...

well babs already tried benching ozzie for a few games and let conks play. that didnt work. id say they should waive ozzie, send him to GR, call up howard. if that doesnt send a message to ozzie and force him to earn his spot back, nothing will.

i do think howard deserves a chance though. and with ozzie playing the way he is playing, id say now would be a good time to do it.

You're either not watching the game or simply not the smartest Red Wings fan, but that's okay, it appears that you have lots company.

You're right, anyone critical of osgood's league worst (this year) performance is obviously stupid. I'm sure you could put Luongo or Brodeur or even miller or nabokov in osgood's place and they'd have the worst stats in the league as well.

smart fan or not, who cares. Then, do you trust Osgood this season? Can you really trust that we will be able to win by scoring only 2 or 3 when Osgood is in the net?

Its not panic its just time for Conklin.

It's not panic? I'm sorry but it's the defense as well as Osgood. If you notice teams bring it EVERY f***in night against the Red Wings! You just gotta match intensity which they are having a hard time doing this year.We are 2nd in the league in ONE goal games, who would of thought? Sometimes it's not about the better defense or offense,it's heart and hustle! Not shying away from the big hits, you have to want to MURDER the other team (not literally of course).I guess this is the "cup hangover" everyone mentioned.

There's a reason he's been a career backup.

He was a backup in COLUMBUS for God's sake.

Like Roloson, who was splitting games with Fernandez for his Wild tenure, and then came within a game of the cup? Like Kipper, who was a back-up and placed on waivers at 28?
