ok, lets hope its not a concussion, i mean seriously a whole weak? god, the wings could miss the playoffs because of that. i;d rather he be out a weak then have some type of long term neck injury. THAT was my ******* point! jesus christ people.

I think that supposedly one-day concussion you had affected you a little more than you think :|

yes i know very little about concussions, and you are clearly an expert. based on the fact that i have had one, i think i know a bit more about it then you.

yah a concussion can be bad example lindros.

but look at this experts

He did not loose conceissness immediatly or at all for all we know, which (if this was a concussion which was pure speculation) indicated a mild concussion at most. if he had had seriose head trauma he would have likely blacked out on the ice and taken considerable time to come to. he played for another 10 secs or so before he left.

Concussions can be very serious... concussions turned Lindros from the next "Great One" to "Dude, what's my name again?" Sorry for making a joke out of this, but I'm trying to make a point: you don't mess around with head injuries of this type.

Hopefully Hossa is okay.

I've also had orthopedic knee surgery to realign my patella and tibia. Does that make me an expert on the subject? Not hardly. You've had a concussion and you say you've had no lingering effects. You're luckier than most. That doesn't mean concussions are not a big deal or that you know more about them than anyone else.

good for you --you got lucky, and it could have been a lot worse. but if you're basing this on personal experience that's proof by one example. Let's hope Hossa's as lucky as you were.

I had one as well where I didn't lose consciousness, even though I almost did several times in the span of 10 minutes. I had persistent near-migraine headaches for several months and it took at least a year to be fully recovered.

Obviously Mr. "I've had a concussion therefore they are ***** injuries" is lying and got caught acting like a ****** and internet tough guy.

WE DEMAND an update on Hossa :(

Babs is a liar... he knows about Hossa.

Two things about that come to mind; either they don't know yet so they have nothing to say, or it's worse than we thought and they don't want to say anything right now.

I hope I'm wrong on both counts.

The closer it gets to the playoffs, the less we know about players' status. You guys know this.
