I really hope Hossa is OK.

For the game, everyone did their part. 100% team win, from top to bottom. Much maligned fourth liners Draper and Maltby had tremendous efforts, Pavel was a human wrecking ball, Hank scored two, the PK did its job, and Conklin came up with one or two huge saves to preserve the win.

Couldn't be happier with that game. My only nitpick is too many penalties. Outside of those the Wings game them very little tonight. They were aggressive, physical, a little annoying. That's the way we need to play from here on out.

And the best part of all: Le Turtle was completely irrelevant.

Like i said before this game started, we are going to win because Conklin > Nabokov. If we played Conklin in SJ for that last game we would have took that too.

Helm and Maltby awesome on the PK.

CONKQUERER!

GO WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So all you Osgood Worshipers, you still think Conklin cant do it in the playoffs?????

I'm sorry, you're of the opinion that we care what you think. After insulting everyone that posts here, you have the balls to show your face again?

Get bent.

Well the better team tonight won. Wings clearly dominated the play, from the drop of the puck all the way to the end. I can't really put into words how frustrating this was for me to watch. I know the season series ends 2-2, but what bothers me is that even though the Sharks won at home, the wings were competitive. No one questions their ability to win in SJ. I can't say the same for the Sharks, who keep getting blown out at Joe Louis. The Sharks need to get home ice for the playoffs, 'cause they sure aren't the same team when they play in Detroit. I'm glad there's another game for the Sharks tomorrow...hopefully it will help me forget about this one.

Great win for us, I come back from work just in time to see the final horn.

Update on Hossa from MLive -

The club announced during the third period that Hossa is out for precautionary reasons and will not return to the game.

Doesn't sound like anything too serious to me.

That does indeed sounds alot better, can't be anything serious at this point.

Maybe the best game the Wings have played this season.

God this team is amazing when the 4th line works and we have a goalie we can count on to make some saves.

Hossa's injury does put a little damper on things, but it doesn't sound too bad. Let's hope it's not like Stuart's injury which didn't seem like much at all at first, but turned into him being gone for weeks.

Sharks seem unable to bring their top game in JLA. Time to aim for that home-ice advantage.

great game.

Leino, Zetterberg, Hossa, Datsuyk and Conklin all looked great

As always as soon as anyone starts getting rough with them the Sharks go belly up.

Woot! Conker made alot of saves out there. But all those shots from far away = Wings win

Good game though, anyone else notice the announcers start cheering for the Wings? It actually confused me there ^_^

I didnt insult "everyone" and if you were insulted then you were one of the Morons that spouted false facts and spin-doctored info to try to justify your pathetic arguments.

Probably best the series ended 2-2--that way neither team feels anything was settled in the regular season or gets too overconfident. See you in May!
