I think the right call was made... Homer was in the blue when the shot was taken. I think that's the current status of the rule.

It isn't. You can be in the blue all you want, but if the ref rules that the goalie didn't have a fair chance to save the puck AND the attacker is in the crease it can be waived off, and the official call is "goaltender interference".

I watch a lot of other teams/games because I have Center Ice and I can, and we get called for that "rule" about a hundred times more than any other team. It may be the correct call technically speaking, but the Wings are pretty much the only ones who get it called on them. And it's because of Homer and his reputation, and it's bulls***.
