As long as Arby's is giving out free food for hat tricks, we will never get one. There, I said it. PROVE ME WRONG UNIVERSE, I DARE YOU.

Pavel gets five goals, Koko gets two, Lids gets a bunch of assists and everyone has a good time, except the Islanders.

This is a must win game. No matter what happens, if the Wings lose this game against the worst team in the league, they have to feel shameful. Same with Osgood. If he allows some weak goals against the WORST TEAM, THE ISLES!!, he should feel shameful.

Wings better take advantage of what should be an easy game. Wings are competing for a #1 spot in the West, Isles are competing for the #1 pick. Maybe they can help each other out a bit here.

This is why I'm worried about this game. "It's only the Isles".

/mindfly

Nononono, it's:

I wish the Wings could beat the Isles but it's just not gonna happen. [/mindfly]

(i.e. If Osgood doesn't get a shutout with 50+ saves, or Flip doesn't score 500 goals, it may as well be a loss even if it's a win)

NYI shouldn't have a problem getting last place. They have a back-to-back at Detroit and home with the Flyers. Then they have road games against Washington and Montreal.

My brother (from IN), my best friend (from MI), and my sister and I with her three kids (from CO) will be at the game. Spring break road trip:

Four new player sweaters and other fun stuff from Hockeytown Authentics: $700.

Tickets for the game: $430.

Over 1300 miles (one way) in the mini-van: ugh.

Seeing the Wings at The Joe: priceless.

We want a really good win here! Go Wings!
