Come on now, any fan of hockey follows the playoffs regardless of their team being in them or not. If they honestly didn't know, then they are in the minority, and the media probably picked out those on purpose for a theme of the CBJs being beginners to the post season & their fans as well. betterREDthandead 58 Report post Posted April 14, 2009 How the playoffs normally work as far as the Blue Jackets are concerned: The first shot is called a "tee shot" because you may use a tee to hit the ball off of. This is recommended because you can hit the ball farther. After that are your "approach shots" in which you attempt to place the ball on the green, which is a semi-flat surface of special grass. If youre just going to the game for fun, hell, who cares. But if you're parading around like a real fan, at least know what sport you're watching.
