puckbags 863 Report post Posted April 23, 2009 When the Nucks made the final agains the Rangers in 94 or 95 or whenever the hell it was they made the mistake before the series started of having a photoshopped picture of Linden on the front of the Province newspaper holding the cup...they just dont get it around these parts. Not only did he state without hesitation that the Red Wings would bw swept, he was seriously talking about where the parade route would be. I laughed. Prove that comment please. adtthosa 5 Report post Posted April 23, 2009 The 'Nucks are scary because we've lost to worse teams with way worse goalies in the past. I have been impressed with their defense so far but again...they've only played the Blues. The next round will be a bigger test for them, regardless of who they face (maybe not Calgary). rage 24 Report post Posted April 23, 2009 Luongo is a good goalie, but he's only played in 16 PO games his entire career including this year. This is only his second time making it to the second round. He hasn't established himself as a goalie to fear in the POs. So? How many playoff games did Cam Ward play in before winning the Cup? Dallas starting planning the parade route in 2006 after the Mavs had a 2-0 lead in the series over Miami, they proceeded to lose the next 4 games losing the series.
