ducks4cup 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2009 Were you the guy who just made fun of my English? By the way, the Wings did not get owned. For sure, the Ducks have some good players who can fight well. That was me. Did not realize you were from Korea, my apologies.

ducks4cup 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2009 Yeah everyone on every other hockey board. That's the dumbest claim that I have ever heard. That is in no way dumb. I am on about 5 boards, 2 of which are just general hockey boards. letsgowings.com is the only one who thought Homer's elbow was accidental. Biased? of course. hail2ducks 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2009 LOLOL, I cant wait when we win the next game and you quit coming here. do you really think the redwings are guaranteed to win tomorrow?? honestly ask yourself if you believe that, because honestly i have no clue who is going to win, in a game 7 it doesnt matter what has happened, who has better players and so forth, it is going to come down to who wants it more, who is more desperate. Guest Four Report post Posted May 13, 2009 (edited) Considering you touched the octopus and you just man-handled an injured player and Datsyuk, something tells me The Red Wings are ready to crush your hopes more than your team is ready to crush ours. We have something to prove now, while last night you guys proved you can fight and aren't intimidated, so maybe that will end up being the weakness for you tomorrow, thinking the Wings are under your physicality. It will definitely be a good game, but if you guys will finally stop trolling, it would be even better Edited May 13, 2009 by Four
ShanahanMan 473 Report post Posted May 13, 2009 (edited) in my eyes, all i saw was the ducks owning the redwings in a fight after we owned you in the game... and thats a fact. If you call a "2-1" win with terrible officiating an "own" then you're an idiot. The games you have won you've BARELY won. The ones we've won have been pure domination. Also, if you call gooning it up after the game like hitting people while they're down, elbowing someone viciously while their head is turned, and trying to fight people who dont fight, "owning".....then congratz, you deserve an A. Guest Shoreline Report post Posted May 13, 2009 That's resonably fair on the whole, except for the fact that Niedermayer (whoI don't have abig problem with on the whole), cracked him on the skull after the buzzer, and perry beat the s*** of out a totally disinterested rafalski. It wasn't a brawl..if it was i think people wouldn't be as pissed off..it was more chippy bullying after the whistle by the ducks, which is not exactly a new phenomenon. It is actually against the rules, as well as being morally dubious... Wow, cracked his skull? Which hospital did Dats go to? Did you see Raffy's bloody face? Holllyyyy s*** they beat the living fu-- oh wait, no, they didn't. It was a scrum. A rather intense one, but nonetheless it was NOTHING like a brawl. Indeed the Ducks need to be punished more for their extracurricular activities but you've done a fantastic job of embellishment in that post.
ducks4cup 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2009 (edited) Then, let's conclude Homer's elbow was not accidental. What about 2 years ago on Homer? Accidental? Different situation. Homer had no reason to have his elbow up. Prongs was making a hit. If I had to say one way or another I would say it was probably intentional. Prongs elbow was very similar to Kronwall's on Carter. So then you would have to say Kronwall's was intentional (thus making the wings a "dirty" team like the ducks. Edited May 13, 2009 by ducks4cup

So then you would have to say Kronwall's was intentional (thus making the wings a "dirty" team like the ducks. There was no reason Pronger had to hit Homer. The Ducks were losing the game by a big score. Just frustration let him to hit. Justified? I do not think so. From my view, Homer did not intentionally hit W. Besides, the last word you said about the Ducks "dirty team", that is all gotta said by how Perry did on Rafalski who was not participating in the fight at all. I do not know how you can think of this but the Ducks were classless as usual

Players normally have no reason to have their sticks up in the air at people's faces, but high-sticking calls happen all the time. The elbow was accidental, and you would be lying to say that only Red Wings fans think it was so. I've been on other team's boards too, and I know that "only Wings fans agree with you" claim is bunk. And it doesn't discredit his position, so I don't understand why you bring it up in the first place. And P.S.: It is ill-advised to admit to trolling on another team's board, and even worse to justify it because their fans are trolling yours. Take the high road and act intelligent if you can. therock48880 14 Report post Posted May 13, 2009 (edited) Off topic: Nice to see the 14 year old trolls have made an appearance after a win. Ironically, they are no-shows after a loss. On topic: 1. Players get suspended for bumping into each other BEFORE a game, yet players can get game misconducts AFTER the game is over? That makes no sense. Those should carry over to the next game. 2. I still don't understand the point behind it. The Ducks had won the game. I've seen scrums initiated by losing teams after a game had ended, but never by the winning team. All they did was put themselves in danger of suspensions (they probably won't get suspended) right before a game 7. Basically, it was a very stupid move by the guys that should be leaders on that team. Edited May 13, 2009 by therock48880
Guest Shoreline Report post Posted May 13, 2009 (edited) The poll speaks. You lose. Again. Oh noes. Polls said for years that people believed Saddam was responsible for 9/11. Indeed, polls speak.. about nothing. By all means, make another topic about insecurity. Edit: Btw, why do people keep responding to the Duck trolls? bonan78 1 Report post Posted May 14, 2009 (edited) If Homer wasn't suspended why should Scotty? Hopefully I'm not the only one to point this out, but Holmstrom's elbow was clearly inadvertent, and even if they did call a penalty on it during the game (which they didn't), Niedermayer's elbow was 1) blatantly intentional, he looked right at him prior to throwing it, and 2) it was after the f'ing game. If he doesn't get suspended, then there is no justice. I just watched a segment on Vs about the Ducks cheapshots through the whole series. I only hope that the Niedermayer elbow wakes up Datsyuk like the Getzlaf pimp-slap did to Franzen. I see someone already pointed it out Edited May 14, 2009 by bonan78
