I'm a bit of a burgeoning alcoholic myself, so I like to believe anything is possible in terms of quitting. Ya know, for my own personal health and such. Dude- follow his example. Probably Babcock is probably a real stickler about his players not drinking during the playoffs. Same goes for doing coke and staying up all night. (I'm looking at you Probie!) On a side note, the most ridiculous Osgood rumor was Atlanta's 2001 First overall pick(Kovalchuk) for Osgood back before he was waived for Hasek. Personally, I think it's a load of S**T because let's face it, if word got out over the years of D-Mac and Probert's off the ice issues, don't you think Osgood's would have leaked out too? Someone asked me if I had heard anything legit, and I said no and did some searching. The person who asked me heard it on a puck bunny site, so there goes any shot at it being true right there. OsGOD 3 Report post Posted May 21, 2009 (edited) if he is a boozer than i blame wings fans... in the freep/news a bit ago there was articles about player/fan interaction and ozzie said he mentioned on the air that he hadn't had a drink in a long time and then that night returning home he had 20+ cases of booze on his front porch as for any divorce rumors... someone ought to tell Jenna to move out of his house then... just saw her there yesterday. I've had a family member go through it and they were there for a month. Maybe he did the same program Kovalev did. He was given days off so maybe he was in rehab too. In the playoffs you'd want him in the best condition you could get, so not a drop. You never offer alcohol to a recovering alcoholic. It's cruel.
