IIHF refuses to grant transfer card to Jiri Hudler

13 minutes a night is first line minutes? Wow. Well Hudler was the 30th highest scoring centre in the league with 57pts, so I guess you're 2 for 2.

once again you have gone on the attack without providing any facts. IIRC hudler had plenty of shifts as a top 6 forward over the years and never flourished in that role. He did however flourish in the role of a third line player and was extremely productive. to me you just don't trade one of your top 4 d man for a guy who can't handle top 6 minutes on your team.

Good Christ. He wanted to leave, we said he could go......so what's the problem here? As much as I didn't want him to leave the team, he chose to do so. Okay then. Now he supposedly has a new team to play for that he feels will better suit his needs. What's the deal with all this dumbass back-and-forth?

WTF are you talking about. In my short response I provided all of the facts required to support both my arguments. It's like you're projecting or something.

I never advocated trading Stuart to bring Hudler back. That was Eva. If this scenario brought Hudler back the easiest thing to do would be to dump Bert and Williams.

And for the record, Hudler got precious few top six shifts throughout the last two years. He got a few here or there, but Babcock was very impatient.

Interesting.

Holland did say he wanted to trade a defenseman...

Perhaps Brad Stuart is the defenseman who ends up moved?

Assuming Stuart is traded for pick or prospect, Lilja is on LTIR, and Lebda/Meech/Delmore are the 5th/6th/7th defensemen, with Maltby and Eaves as 13th and 14th forwards, then the Wings have about $650k in cap space with Hudler. Move Eaves to GR, and the Wings have more than $1m with Hudler on the roster. Lines though?

Datsyuk/Zetterberg/Holmstrom

Franzen/Hudler/Bertuzzi

Cleary/Filppula/Williams

Helm/Draper/Leino

I know I'll get ripped on for that...but the idea of Hudler and his playmaking ability between big bodies Franzen and Bertuzzi really works in my mind.

For the last freaking time... I'll even put it in your font.

Stuart has a NTC.

As for your lines, offense, you're fine. Your D would be weak at best with a 3rd pairing of Lebda and Meech. Do not want.

What is odd: the article from mlive dot com is dated August 3rd. The link provided to the original article in Russia is August 3rd. The link from the article in the Edmonton Journal is August 26th.

Life moves a lot slower in Edmonton. Maybe Dany Heatley is right.

Regarding Hudler: just to be on the safe side, change the locks.

I'll even rekey the locks for free!

Speaking of things that don't make any sense, any chance that the NHL will allow Hudler to come back to the Wings as an exception to the Salary Cap based on this whole clusterf***? I mean, none of this is really the Wings fault.

So is this fair dinkum or not? Can Hudler play for Dynamo or is this thread superfluous because it was made with old info? The link in the OP doesn't even work anymore. I'm confuzzed.

HAHAHAHHA!

This is the clusterf*ck mess you get when you take advice from Jaremir Jagr to leave the NHL and go play in Russia. Have fun screwing up your career

Seriously, the drunken guy who chants "Let's go Red Vings!" and shows the most emotion when he scores goals is fun until he throws up in your bathroom. Then he's just like any other annoying moron.

guys relax, the poster who suggested moving stuart was just speculating. Berating people for not knowing there was a NTC is a little childish.

forgive some of us for not memorizing every single detail of the intricacies of all of our player contracts, even ones signed a few years ago.

Don't you know how things work around LGW? We eat the young and sacrifice the innocent to the Zamboni.
