More than just 25? why don't you be more honest and say 35-40 as you seem to predict hat-tricks and multi point games every other game...

Well I'm realistic (unlike you) and I think there's a chance he'll land somewhere between 25-30 this year. If I was to guess I'd say he'll net 30+ atleast, but I wouldn't bet a ban on it. But since you seem to think he'll struggle to make it to 20 shouldn't you want to jump on that bet?

And the reason I (occasionally) predict multi-point games is because I (unlike you) want the Wings as a team and the players themselves to do good. You see, I'm not clinically depressed (like you) and go around moping all the time, predicting the bad and hoping for the worst.

For the people who have said the Wings are not playing well, I think you need to watch the games a bit more. Sure our record does not look good at all in the Free Press, but the last four games I thought the Wings have carried the play, we simply are not getting the bounces.

The LA game we got a couple of good bounces but since then not much. The first Colorado game Anderson was amazing and that left the door open for a comeback. The Phoenix game again, no good bounces our way and a questionable call on the tying goal, then you have the second Colorado game (which I atteneded). The Wings controlled the play the entire game, outshot Colorado 49-26 (I think) Jimmy Howard played well, again just ran into a hot goalie!!

Tonight, suprise, Robbie Lou is getting hot again and just in time for the Wings to come to town. One thing I have noticed with Louie, is that when teams jump on him early, he tends to lose his confidence. Look what Calgary has done to him this year, 10 goals against in 2 games! I believe that both games Calgary jumped out to 3 or 4 nothing leads!!

I think the Wings have turned the corner and I feel they could get three wins in Western Canada for the first time since 2007 and we all know what happened that summer!!!!

Every October in Vancouver Luongo plays bad and the Chicken Little's come out and bemoan Luongo's poor play. Conversely, fans of other teams around the league virtually guarantee Luongo's demise as an elite NHL goaltender.

Then, late October/early November rolls around, Luongo does something ridiculous like allow one goal in 4 games with 3 shutouts and the Vancouver fans rest easy and the fans of other teams around the league retire their wailings for another year when they will surely return. Luongo has settled into the groove and they disappear faster than a fart in a hurricane, but they will return to fart again in one year's time as sure as migratory birds fly south for the Winter.

Luongo let in some very soft goals against Calgary in those games - extremely soft. I expect that has pretty much come to an end.

I think if we play like we did last game we'll win. I can't believe I'm saying this, but Howard was actually overall pretty solid in net, and Anderson must have had horseshoes in both pockets to have the posts save him as many times as they did. Even though they ended up losing I'm hoping that that was something of a turning point for the team.
