Like hockey fashion, the photographer didn't miss a snap(shift)!

Sports photographers are a tough breed. :) I was one in high school, know a little of what this guy sees.

This is just a freaky injury, though. Getting tackled is something you expect. Having a foul tip break my cup was a surprise, but not unexpected. This is a million-to-one shot.

Just shows the skill level these goalies have, as they do practice shooting through the photographer's hole.

But hey, where's the delay of game penalty? He obviously did it on purpose....haha.

Classy move by Ryan after the game.

Love it, even hockey photographers are tough.

Crazy, freak accident, kind of funny, but Miller just cemented himself as my favorite non-Wing goalie. Someday he'll play for the Wings...Drew Miller's signing was just the bait.

Miller just learned from the Neidermeyer video... first you have to attempt to knock out the person or persons around the area you are going to give a stick before you toss it into the crowd. This way a fight wont happen.

Kudos to Miller to defusing what could have otherwise been an ugly fight for that goal stick!

cheek bone vs frozen puck.

OW!

Yes it does. I caught a puck in the chin at Storm game that had to be closed up with 7 stitches. That's what you get when you take your eye off the puck though. The puck landed in the lap of the guy behind me but he felt so bad for me that he gave me the puck.
