It's not even that they're slow, they're just not even trying to skate. We need these guys to step up but at this point it looks like they're letting the injuries run the whole team. Injuries simply can't be used as an excuse for this game. Edmonton has just as many guys out as we do and they're in last place. Even so, they're running circles around us. It seems like our core players that AREN'T injured come into most of these games thinking "well half the team is injured, so why bother?". Maybe i'm over-reacting but some of the games ive seen this season have been the worst in the past couple of years, at least in the regular season. creedie 2 Report post Posted December 4, 2009 (edited) anyone happen to be watching the pens/aves game via the aves feed? at about 16 min into the second period the commentators start talking about the pens and the cup last year. they then decide to analyze the past four years of sc winners. they had something positive to say about 06, 07, and then when it came it to 08 (wings) they said something to the affect of ... "and they had whatever"... then on to talk about the pens. i had to check my feed to make sure i was watching the aves feed and not the pens - crazy!
