edicius 3,269 Report post Posted December 7, 2009 Not the old 0-2,please. Gotta score next. I'm calling a goal by Anisimov next.
BlueMonk 102 Report post Posted December 7, 2009 As long as the Wings get in the playoffs. Because if they do, there's a chance all this ridiculous, bad puck luck turns around, they start getting all the bounces in April-June and they steamroll the league on the way to a Cup win. Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted December 7, 2009 Remember in 07-08 when the Wings forechecked and backchecked hard? Yeah, I miss that. The whole "we're really good so we'll give them neutral ice to skate" bulls*** is getting old.
haroldsnepsts 4,826 Report post Posted December 7, 2009 *waits for someone to blame that goal on Ericsson* Damn it Abdelkader! SKATE In hindsight E should have gone over to help, but yeah, Abdelkader was either out of steam or pretty casual on that backcheck. And if he's out of gas than that's a lesson on shift length and putting the puck deep, not across the zone.
VM1138 1,921 Report post Posted December 7, 2009 I don't get this. 1-0 isn't that bad, especially considering they've been plaing well. I just don't get why the team can't ever be rewarded for shooting and playing well.
Drake_Marcus 890 Report post Posted December 7, 2009 *waits for someone to blame that goal on Ericsson* Damn it Abdelkader! SKATE Ahh there you go-- Mickey just did. Thanks Mick. But what happens when E leaves his man open to go double team Abdelkader's man? Why couldn't Abs tie his stick up instead? E was the only guy on his side of the ice. Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted December 7, 2009 Ilitch should offer the team Christmas bonuses for whoever is able to give them a 1-0 lead.
DetFan81 1 Report post Posted December 7, 2009 its pretty sad how evertime the red wings are on i know that the other team will get the first goal... and that the shots on goal will be in the favor of the red wings by a big margin.. but THEY still always get the first goal so dumb

Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted December 7, 2009 Good period for the Wings other than the customary being down 1-0.

Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted December 7, 2009 Datsyuk is really getting annoying, move your feet and try, jesus christ. Babs really should just play the Eaves-Draper-Helm unit, and Zetterberg, and uys that frickin skate. I miss Fil and Franzen, they fricking skate. I miss ******* Datsyuk that used to skate and not ***** foot around, turn it over and dump it in.

ShanahanMan 473 Report post Posted December 7, 2009 If Datsyuk doesn't get any points in the next few games, I say bench him. I don't know who I'm watching out there but its definitely not Datsyuk.
haroldsnepsts 4,826 Report post Posted December 7, 2009 Zetterberg continues to look great night-in and night-out. He has been working hard and involved out there every night, but honestly it hasn't led to the kind of production you'd hope for from him.

Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted December 7, 2009 It seems like the Wings are generating as many scoring chances as ever, and, as has been the trouble this season, just can't put any of those chances into the net.
