Guest Heaten Report post Posted March 10, 2011 Only goal I saw was the winner, and no chance on it. The team in front of him needs to score more than one goal. First goal was all on Howard. He deflated the DRWs and gave LA life. He single handedly lost this game. This loss is on him.

Guest Howard He Do It?! Report post Posted March 10, 2011 First goal was all on Howard. He deflated the DRWs and gave LA life. He single handedly lost this game. This loss is on him. How can you even post this garbage with a straight face? The game was tied after that goal. The Wings did crap on offense and that had nothing to do with Howard. Guest Crymson Report post Posted March 10, 2011 (edited) f*** HOWARD! GET HIM THE f*** OUT OF DETROIT..... NOW! I hope this is a joke. tonight he sucked the energy out of us big time with that rebound. the second one should have never happened as we all know. but the first one killed us. i really think we need to pick up somebody new for next year. howard/ozzie is weak as s***. LOL. Do you really think that no goalie ever gives up soft goals? The difference is that generally the team in front of him scores MORE THAN ONE GOAL. These guys are professionals. They don't get the spirit sucked out of them by one bad goal. I think that you're just spoiled by so much success. Oh, wait... I forgot that Phoenix lost when Bryzgalov gave up that soft goal the other night. WAIT A SEC... NO, THEY DIDN'T! First goal was all on Howard. He deflated the DRWs and gave LA life. He single handedly lost this game. This loss is on him. ROFL. Wow. Just wow... So I guess you're saying that the team is made up of weak-minded fools who are entirely dependent upon their goalie for emotional stability? Good call, champ. HankthaTank 1,100 Report post Posted March 10, 2011 Doc, you are one funny guy. But seriously, let's please take our time to maybe think about things before we start typing this keyboard vomit. I am quite sure people are either on their computers looking at Ochocinco tweets and just look up every time they hear Ken Daniels' voice elevate from something because there is no way some of these people on here have been watching. I am of the mind that dirtydangles is on his way to get some meds soon and will definitely be ready for crow sandwich come playoff time. Confidence is quite low right now but I think really and truly people need to just let up on the goalie hatred for at least this one. Just making you all look like you didn't view a single second of that game. We ran into a goalie, who after giving up a super soft goal, played out of his mind. Without those stops, Wings have the W 4-2. Not because Jimmy sucked so bad it motivated Quick. GET REAL. 1 stevkrause reacted to this

Nightfall 871 Report post Posted March 10, 2011 This board is downright laughable at times... I have to agree. Seriously, I go to the HFboards to get more intelligent hockey talk. I come here to hear some biased Wings perspective and the most stupid comments from armchair Wings fans. Anyone with a straight face saying that Howard lost the LA game is an idiot. Howard has had his best stretch of hockey over the course of the last couple weeks, and because of the defensive lapses in front of him, they haven't done so well. I don't blame Howard for this at all. I blame the product in front of him. 1 Hockeymom1960 reacted to this

I wouldn't pin this loss on Howard. But I would also say he didn't have a particularly great game. Even when it didn't affect the play around him, he was giving up rebounds on what should be relatively easy shots to corral. 6 HankthaTank, GoWings1905, edicius and 3 others reacted to this
HankthaTank 1,100 Report post Posted March 10, 2011 I am a broken record and this is a Jimmy Howard thread but, wow is Ericsson bad. Like 4 clear giveaways and I am sure more tossed in. Penner and Kopi made him look like a child out there last night. Back on topic though.....just my worthless 2 pennies. 1 stevkrause reacted to this

CrimsonFlame 424 Report post Posted March 10, 2011 He only let in two goals. Can't really ask much more of him. Well I guess you could ask for him to only give up 1 goal in a given game, but a 1 GAA? Best goalie to ever live.

Best goalie to ever live. It's not the fact he let in two goals, it's the first softy he let in because his rebound control is like a ping pong ball bouncing off a ping pong table. That soft goal he let in changed the game. Wings were playing like a team on a mission, then his weak goal changed the momentum of the game. We'll just have to accept the fact that Red wings wont be winning the cup the next two years unless Kenny gets rid of him or finds a real #1 goalie. Howard isn't a goalie that can get it done. He's the Bret Lebda of goalies...
