Wings on pace for 105 points with a $33 million roster...

Imagine if we were playing with a $56 million dollar roster like everyone else, we'd be pushing 52+ points in 34 games and leading the entire league in the standings.

Blackhawks should be ecstatic they're going to be playing a $33 million dollar Red Wings roster, they may feel like they *might* have a *possible*chance* to win against us. Sure do hope they take us for granted. :D

I'm f'ing proud of this team. And congrats to Howard for being considered for team USA.

I agree. For this team to still win games with this roster says something about this organization and team...

Also, Howard hasn't made team USA... He has a chance, yet it is very unlikely

Even more important than this single year is the depth of our roster moving forward; Eaves, Miller, and Bert are proving that given the chance, they can play and succeed having first and second line minutes.

More than that, though, is that Howard has finally proved that he belongs in the NHL, and his confidence increases with every game.

Our roster should make every other team in the league scared when we're back to normal, be that next year, or late this season.

But not a 5th straight 50win season....

That would require 32 wins out of the remaining 48 games. 32-16 record to close out the regular season is far from an impossible feat but would require for this team to shake the injury bug and get on a serious roll.

Still sucks for all these streaks to end this year... imagine if they arent making the playoffs that would end the 18th or 19th straight playoff appearence streak..., That 5th straight 50win is the most far fetched though... They might make 100pts that would be the 10th straight season i believe?

All I care about are cups.

That will be tough with all these injuries. Lets hope this awesome defense + goaltending continues.

Who cares about streaks? I'll start... not me in the slightest.

I came up with 98, so it's in the ballpark. Not sure how he got 105, though.

well rather then sounding like a nerd I rounded it off to 99 It's acutally 98.882352 :-)

but my money is on them getting over 100
