Drake_Marcus 890 Report post Posted December 21, 2009 Actually I want to change my vote to Hudler, just so someone posts that pic of all the Hudses on the bench laughing. I loved that picture. The one where every single person in the crowd was Therian was also awesome.
Datsyerberger 279 Report post Posted December 21, 2009 Surprised it hasn't been done yet. Lidstrom - Lidstrom - Lidstrom Lidstrom - Lidstrom - Lidstrom Lidstrom - Lidstrom - Lidstrom Lidstrom - Lidstrom - Lidstrom Lidstrom - Lidstrom Lidstrom - Lidstrom Lidstrom - Lidstrom Lidstrom Hardly anyone on the team ever gets injured, Lidstrom can save Lidstrom's ass if Lidstrom almost lets in a goal, Lidstrom sets up Lidstrom for one timers, Lidstrom cycling with Lidstrom, Lidstrom lifting the stick of the opposing forward so Lidstrom can make the outlet pass to Lidstrom to shoot it into the opponent's goal from center ice... Yeah, I think Lidstrom is the most complete and best all-around player in the team. He's got the size unlike Zetterberg and Datsyuk and he's good defensively. He's great offensively, has great shot and great pass. The only weak point would be that he may not be fast enough as forward.
eva unit zero 271 Report post Posted December 21, 2009 Zetterberg, obviously. That's not even a question. He's amazing defensively, an excellent playmaker, great shooter, can handle the physical game, good skater, and great vision on the ice. He's the closest thing in the world to a perfect forward. I don't see him doing very well playing D. He's good defensively, but that doesn't mean he's a good d-man. He's too small.

Broken 16 381 Report post Posted December 21, 2009 I think Datsyuk would have to be the clear choice. Imagine Dats on the ice with 2 other Dats? The same instinct and playmaking skills perfectly in tune with his linemates? Imagine being on the other team and being hounded by 3 backchecking Datsyuks? Terror. I agree. That would be as close to a perfect team as possible, imo. Zetterberg a close second. Seems obvious that you would want the most complete player cloned. For fun factor, Helm would be my choice... maybe Eaves in a year if he continues to develope at his current pace.

Yea, but they would just pass to each other all night and never shoot! Kidding, love the Dats, but that one was the easy response.
