Is it confirmed that Howard will be playing or is that an assumption?

Mlive says:

Babcock said he hadn't decided who Ritola will play with. He skated with Valtteri Filppula on Tuesday, but Filppula won't return until Saturday against Columbus, as long he is cleared, as expected, by doctors on Wednesday.

Jimmy Howard will start in goal.

I just hope it's not a snoozefest like the last game was. I was struggling to stay awake from the boredom. 3-0 was actually flattering. It was a 1-0 game, and a tedious one at that. Kinda like watching Minnesota-New Jersey in their respective defensive pinnacles.

May-Ritola-Maltby? Wouldn't it make more sense to play Ritola with Eaves who can do something with the puck too? :confused1:

At this point Ritola is here to do nothing but fill an empty spot. Babs is not expecting him to put up points. All we need is for him to go out there and make sure Chicago doesnt score when he is on the ice. This is the reason we did not call up Williams.
