Reading an article on Mlive it sounds like our lineup tonight's game is going to be pretty crazy. Babs said he is only playing 3 center's tonight, and we are rotating them. He said Draper or Miller could be moved to make a 4th center if needed, but that is unlikely.

Simple game plan: Wings need to play a lockdown 60 minutes, allow no softies,

Exactly, Someone on page 1 writes he hopes it is not a snoozefest (like the Wild) and Miller time says "play Red Wing hockey" ... That is silly. The Wings have done a very decent job of playing with the injuries because they are not trying to play Red Wing Hockey. When Healthy you have an up and down skill team that can put up goals while playing decent defense. In my opinion the defense was not steller it was the near dominant offense that kept the puck from the opposition. The reality until you get some guys back is to NOT play R/W hockey. Use your 3 3rd/4th lines as shut down lines and try limit opposition chances and be patient for a few good opportunities.

I am hardly an expert on the Wings though I watch them a lot on CI (Mick is the best color guy in the game) I am surprised regular posters are pining for the team it will ice tonight play a style that would most likely see them lose.

As far as the Hawks tonight? Hard to say as it's still a young team. They dominated last night and came up empty. It will be interesting to see how they react. Fact is someone looking at the stats would say Huet sucked and that was not the case. 1st 2 goals were 2 glaring Duncan Keith errors. He is said to be one of the best in the game so maybe they just write it off as part of a long season and move on.

Guess we will find out soon enough.

So we're going to ice a $25 million dollar roster to their $53+ million dollar roster. Wings can still beat them if they play Red Wings hockey.

Stop with "$blahblahblah roster" already. It doesn't mean s***. Besides... you sound like a complete idiot every time you say it (which happens to be in a majority of your posts). Chemistry and team commitment greatly outweigh a stupid roster dollar amount.

i could care less if you wish us luck or anything but you can along with your buddies be some what civil and stop starting a troll fest on a wings forum.

Should be "couldn't care less" unless you're trying to say that you care.

It's a learning curve. Just like the Hawks need to learn a few things in order to become a successful franchise, Hawk fans need to learn how not to be mouthbreathers. Baby steps.

I have a feeling Wings are coming out blazing and are going to play Red Wings hockey. If they do, we'll prevail. Bert and Lidstrom will both have a big night. Hawks won't be able to contain Datsyuk either, he'll make their top d-men look amateur fools like last game we played them.

Good feeling about tonights game.

The Wings can't play Red Wings hockey until we get people off LTIR. Let's hope they play some Devils/Wild hockey tonight, because I don't care if I'm bored; I just want a win.
