SDavis35 140 Report post Posted January 1, 2010 Bummer USA didn't win, but... WOW what an incredible game! They need to have a "Super Series" between these two, no doubt it would have incredible ratings. Always fun to watch, Canada was real lucky to come out on top. up2here 41 Report post Posted January 1, 2010 (edited) Canada didnt play their 'A' game and still won, that doesnt bode well for the other teams in this tournament. This is a very fast USA team but theres just too much speed and talent on Canada. Interesting stat that they mentioned about Team USA. There are 10 states represented which is the most of all time. Maybe the southern expansion is working after all. Edited January 1, 2010 by UP2HERE
Miller Brew 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2010 I didn't watch the game but it sounds like Canada was lucky they managed a win out of this one.

newfy 695 Report post Posted January 1, 2010 Beauty of a game. Close to the game where Toews won it for Canada in the shootout. Canada just has too much character, grit and skill throughout the line up for these other teams to handle them.

Maybe the southern expansion is working after all. No not working. Seeing as how the kids for the US coming from non hockey markets don't even have teams besides St. Louis I think. Nevada, Oregon, Oklahoma don't have teams. I'd be impressed if I saw a kid from Arizona or Georgia there.
