StevieY9802 6 Report post Posted January 5, 2010 Tonight's Officials: Referees: #38 Francois St. Laurent and #23 Brad Watson Linsemen: #59 Steve Barton and #73 Vaughan Rody I wouldn't be suprised to see a Bertuzzi-Datsyuk-Holmstrom 1st line and a Franzen-Zetterberg-Cleary 2nd line. Abdelkader will probably be sent back down to Grand Rapids when everyone is back, as that was the original plan to start the season before the injuries started piling up. Maybe the Leino-Filppula-Williams line will be reinstituted, as they played well early on before Fil went down. oh yeah when everyones back this is what I see: Bert - Dats - Homer Franzen - Hank - Cleary not sure - Fil - Williams Draper - Helm - Eaves Tough call on the 3rd line LW. Go tough and have May. Go Miller and have a role player/ PK guy. Go Leino and hope his offense comes back. Then there is Malts but I think he may be SOL. Dynheart 42 Report post Posted January 5, 2010 (edited) I believe we'll win this game, but it'll be close. I say 3-2 Wings! I'd also like to add that I'm proud of our team. To stay in contention while having missing 90% of our star players and some very important KEY players for a good part of 2 months? This "adversity" has had a chance for the prospects to get some good NHL practice...and I'm impressed to say the least. Janik, IMO, is going to be a solid second line D-man. Abby is going to be an awesome grinder...kinda reminds me of Maltby back in his early years. Ritola is getting better and better with every game... ... Then there's Meech....... Lastly I have a question for you Wing fans. Even though he had a shakey game when he came back from being injured, has anybody noticed that our forecheck has gotten better...much better since Flips came back? I knew he was a solid player, but him being out of the line up for awhile made me appreciate him even more. Such a great center, awesome on face-offs.
