Flip would score in this game after we busted his chops...well good for him. I wish him no ill at all, but I'm still not hopping on any bandwagons. The day he's the answer to our scoring needs is an ugly one and I still expect him to be a smidge above a .5 point per game player when this season ends, mostly assists. Defensive forward. Nothing wrong with that, but he's always going to be an inconsistent scorer.

P.S. Rough goal to let in as soon as we get a goal...that's the game there.

6 mil next year too. Ouch. Right now who's better Stuart at 3 mil or Rafalski?

After that last goal by Perry, any JLA janitor at $9.50 an hour is better than Rafalski. Martha Stewart would be better than Rafalski.

Everyone knows Flip is not a scorer, but a better play-maker. Look at the 13 million on D that is not performing.

Once again:

I don't remember for sure, but if we buy out Rafalski's contract, will it still count against our cap? Cause seriously......6 mil for this kind of player and an aging defenseman.........what was Holland thinking? Right up there with letting Quincey go.

Well, it was a pretty sweet goal for a fourth-line-hopeful who is lost in the offensive zone and can't finish.

And PS, Datsyuk has had more than double his goal total in assists each of the past 4 seasons. Does that make him a defensive forward and an inconsistent scorer?

Yes, it will count, but not in full. And the rules regarding it are a little complicated...

plus she'd make good post game meals.

Yeah, if you like fricaseed (?!!) truffles and roasted hearts of kumquats. And could they actually eat off a Queen Anne's lace tablecloth?

I think not.
