Kind of a weak call for this stage of the game, but the US player didn't exactly make a great effort not to hit the goalie.

It's a fair call if you consider that if he injured the goalie, Canada would have to put Allen back in.

It's not a fair call when you consider that a Canadian player helped knock him into the goalie.

It'll be unfortunate if that power play is what turned the tide here. It shouldn't have been a call either way.
